Historique

Fondé en 2014.

The Floatation Centre is Atlantic Canada’s first floatation therapy and wellness centre. We promote meditation, mindfulness, relaxation and rehabilitation through sensory deprivation via floating in float tanks (a well-​engineered, enclosed tub) containing 10″ of water and 800lbs of Epsom salts. Our mantra is simple: every person leaves feeling blissed out. And we work hard to ensure this.

My first Float!
Couldn’t be happier.
It was an awesome experience. I was floating in the cosmos. Felt as if I had slept all night when I was done.
Everything was carefully explained.
I felt completely at ease.
Expect to be there at least an hour and a half.
800 lbs of Epsom salts in 10 inches of water, so detoxifying, somehow restorative at same time.
Will return next time I’m in town.
