New restaurant great for date night — but be prepared to hang out for 2 hours. They must be still working out the kinks. We went for supper on a Friday night and were seated immediately and presented with menus and refreshing cucumber water. So far so good. Then we ordered appetizers and the waitress was very helpful and knew the menu. Then things started to get iffy And the restaurant was packed. People were waiting very long. The food was good, minus one of our dishes. But they took it off the bill which was stellar. But gelato took 35 minutes to get to our table. You could see that the chef had to pick up the pieces and start serving food himself to help the 3 waitresses. He knows the importance of serving a dish at the right temperature but I don’t blame the waitresses they were moving like lightening to try and tend to everyone. Felt bad for the staff. However it is still new so I am hoping things improve. Overall the food choices were a 4 out of 5. My risotto was delicious. The charcuterie board was tasty. Margarita pizza needed something a little bland. So overall not including the chicken club I would rate the food a 4 out of 5. The wine choices a 3.5(not into domestic wine). The staff 4 out of 5. The décor 4 out of 5. The piano player 4 out of 5 — nice touch on that! Waterdown needs a place like this. Let’s support our local businesses! Please work out the kinks. We will be back and will provide an updated review within the next month. But it will be just the adults next time. More of an adult restaurant no kids menu. People were mostly casual but it would be nice to dress up and go for a date night and have a romantic dinner while the piano man played all of the greats!!!
