Pokeh offers healthy and fresh poké bowls, with over 20 different toppings and endless combinations. Any bowl can be made gluten free, and vegan friendly options are also available.

Historique

Fondé en 2015.

Pokeh is the first poké bar in Canada — opened in November 2015 by Salar Madadi and Jeannie Crawford, the husband and wife team behind the MeatVentures Meatwagon food truck.

We first tried poké on our honeymoon in Venice Beach at Poke-​Poke — the first poké place in the LA area and instantly fell in love with the bold flavours and the freshness of it. We went back a few more times and searching for a poké place happened any time we were travelling in the US. We were never able to find anywhere to eat poké in Canada, so when the chance to open a stall at the Hamilton Farmers’ Market came up, the idea of a poké bar came to life!

Salar started in the culinary world in 2014 in the street food world, beginning with the MeatVentures Meatwagon food cart, and expanding to a trailer in March of 2015. Pokeh was started at the end of 2015.
