Tcby Treats Frozen Yogurt Ice Cream & Cakes

My absolute FAVOURITE frozen yogurt. They offer a variety of options to meet the desires of varying tastes, but the regular soft chocolate in a cup is my favourite. Sometimes I like to add mini m&ms, but it’s so good that it doesn’t need toppings. Price is great. Convenient location.

TCBY is a little ice cream slash yogurt store located on the Main Street of Westdale. I never tried their ice cream, but I come here for their yogurt, which are served in cup or cone format. You are allowed to customize the yogurt by adding toppings (not by yourself, but requesting it).
In addition, TCBY sells cakes and other frozen treats in their fridge. There are spots to sit down in the store, doesn’t overflow with people, the longest time I had to wait was probably 7 or so minutes.

We went to TCBY because they just started carrying vegan almond milk frozen yogurt. My friend and I were very excited because as a vegan, you don’t get the opportunity to go to other ice cream places, so this is quite a treat.
The yogurt itself had a great flavour. It is a little more crystaline than dairy yogurts due to its lower fat content, but not with an unpleasant mouthfeel. It also seemed to melt quickly, but not so fast that we were unable to finish it before it turned completely to liquid.
They have a fairly large selection of vegan toppings including nuts, sauces, chocolate chips, chocolate peanut butter cups and gummy candy. My friend and I both opted for peanut butter cups and peanut butter sauce. This was a pleasant combo, although I would have like more chocolate. Toppings are measured in these tiny ladles which is plenty for sauces, but seemed scant in the peanut butter cups. Each topping costs $ 1 on top of the cost of your froyo. You can also get a vegan cone, but I am unable to eat this with my allergies, so you’ll have to try that out for yourself! I will definitely return.

This is a pretty good dessert location for frozen yogurt. I do find it a bit pricy for the quality and quality of food but it does taste pretty good. They have a fair selection of toppings to choose from but if you are craving a an ice cream type of dessert, give this place a try.
Overall, I would recommend this to a friend.

We tried honey yogurt and chocolate flavor ice creams, which are just average I think. But the ice cream cake tastes so good!

Mmmmm — i still remember their yogwhiches (2 huge cookies with frozen yogurt between them). They come in all different combinations of flavours — different kinds of cookies (chocolate, chocolate chip, peanut butter…) with either chocolate or vanilla frozen yogurt. They are fantastic! The rest of their frozen yogurt isn’t bad but the yogwhiches really stand out!
