The Dollarama chain has completely changed the way I shop for everyday disposable household items. When I need something like garbage bags or dish soap or cupcake wrappers, I don’t even think about buying them anywhere else. Dollarama sells the exact same products you get at the grocery store for half the price. The same goes for when I’m looking for anything seasonal. Their selection of affordable decorations for holidays like Halloween and Christmas is unmatched. For someone who likes having a festive household but wants to do it on a budget, this is a huge plus. The selection of gift bags and wrapping paper year round(not just Christmas) is especially helpful. Personally I’m not big on the food here, but that’s because I tend to stick mostly with brands that I’m already familiar with. They do have a decent selection of sodas and candies though. As for things specific to this location? I really like the layout of this store. It’s easy to find what you need and the staff are friendly and helpful. I find some of the customers here less than desirable. Whenever there is any sort of line at checkout, there’s always someone who gets irrationally irritated and takes it out on the staff. They’re all trying their best and consistently go above and beyond.
