Salle André-Mathieu

I visited this venue for the first time to see We are Wolves in concert. I was pretty impressed!
To begin, the space as setup was very cosy. Think the concert hall at the Museum of Contemporary Art, but smaller. There were black drapes on the wall. The stage isn’t very high, but its OK because the room is small enough that you get a decent view anywhere you stand. The entrance is quite nice too, including the ticket purchasing area. Plush carpets, little benches to sit on while waiting for your friends after the show, quick and efficient coat check.
Location is just OK. If you live in Laval, its probably a nice change from having to head on island. For island dwellers its a bit of a trek, but an easy one. The Montmorency metro is right across the street. For people with cars, there is lots of parking for $ 5, and it is located right off of highway 15.
