We are a waxing salon dedicated solely to waxing services for men and women. No manicures. No pedicures. Brows. Backs. Brazilians. Bikinis. We use only top quality imported waxes and we have hired Waxologists who are masters of their craft (and clean freaks!). Add in fabulous service that is fast, ouch-free and priced right. Just waxing at its best.

Historique

Fondé en 2014.

We discovered the wax bar concept during our travels in the US and Europe. We couldn’t go back to regular waxing that was usually painful and often came with less than hygienic processes like double dipping of wax sticks (yuck). We knew we had to bring the concept to our hometown of London.

Best waxing experience in London. Being a specialised wax bar, the standard is much higher and on par with the big city wax bars. I won’t go anywhere else.

If you are a person who knows beauty trends, you know that now is the time of the bold brow. Unfortunately I was finding other salons in the area just weren’t getting it. When I saw that a new waxing salon was opening on Richmond Row, I decided to make a change. I wanted someone who specialized in waxing and could achieve the look I was going for.
Right away I was impressed by their online booking system. You can go on the website and choose a service and then select the time you want. As a child of the internet, I would much rather book online than use a phone and I’m sure anyone can appreciate the discreetness when booking an appointment for something a bit more personal.
The salon is fresh and clean with a few products to purchase. The women working at this salon are always very friendly, never fake. On my first visit, I was taken back to the waxing room within a few short minutes. I was given a background on the products they use and how the high quality leaves you less red and is a more comfortable experience. As someone with fair skin, I was happy with that! Their claims were true. While I was still a bit pink in the end, I was not as red as I normally get.
In the couple times i have been to Smooth, they have switched to a wax that doesn’t require the strips. I felt it was much less pain overall with the same result in the end, beautiful brows. These girls know what they are doing. Never again will I risk getting my brows done at a regular salon. Too many times I would leave with extremely skinny brows or bruised eyes (ouch!).
For those who want a bit more grooming and choose the waxing way of life, Smooth has many options for memberships from brows to bikini’s. If you purchase the membership it ends up being a bit cheaper in the end. And gentlemen, there is a whole menu of services you can get as well.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is new to waxing or has been doing it a while, very low ouch-factor with high quality results, PLUS it is locally owned and in the heart of Richmond Row!
