Olde Stanton Store

If you’re on your way from the GTA to points north, for Blue Mountain Skiing in the winter or the sunny shores of Georgian Bay in the summer, or maybe you’re off to visit the Creemore Spring Brewery, you’ll want to take a stop here at the Olde Stanton Store!
The store isn’t really that large, but it is chock-​a-​block full of really unique stuff. Fashion Jewelry (some great necklaces an earrings). Home Décor (clock and wall hangings abound). Gift items (including greeting cards). Clothing for women and men (including a selection of scarves and Tiley hats). And the food (lots of dips and sauces, for example).
OMG I have to mention the fudge here. there are free samples you have to try them!
We were looking for a gift for my wife’s cousin (it was her birthday coming up) and we came cross the perfect lawn ornament there — the cousin, she loves her garden — and it was at a great price too…
Parking is on the side of the building on Sideroad 5, the street perpendicular to Airport Road.
(As an aside, the store sits across the road from the Stanton Hotel, one of the many stage coach hotels that once stood in the area, unfortunately it is the last of its kind in the region, and in its current degraded state, it may not be long before it disappears in the name of progress, take a look at it before it is going, going, gone…)
