Historique

Fondé en 1996.

Computer Troubleshooters was founded in 1996 by Wilson and Suzanne McOrist in Australia. The couple started their company after seeing the growing frustration among business owners looking for affordable, quality computer support services. The McOrists also founded Express Bookkeeping. They opened their first Computer Troubleshooters office in 1997, and have since grown the company to a thriving brand with more than 450 locations in more than 24 countries worldwide. The McOrists sold their company to Merry Meeting, Inc., in 2008. In 2012, John Davies took the reigns as CEO.

I started my career in the telecommunications industry as a technician in 1991. In 1995 I joined the University of Johannesburg as an instructor and also completed a degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1999 I competed the MCSE program and have taught networking systems since 2000 till 2011. At the same time I also was a director with my wife for a company called Edu Babe — my role was mainly the technical aspects of the business, webdesign, biometrics technology and general IT administration. I joined Computer Troubleshooters in 2012.
