Global Optical

I’ve purchased my last 3 pairs of glasses from Global as it seems they have a wider selection of men’s frames and particularly the OGA brand which I have had for the past 3 pairs I’ve purchased.
In my many years or purchasing glasses I’ve never found a brand that is more comfortable and frames that are as durable as OGA. The current pair I’m wearing now are 4 years old and they could probably last another 4 or more.
My prescription hasn’t changed that much but it has changed slightly enough for me to get another pair. My last pair from here were sunglasses and the pair before where had Transitions ver 6.
Pricing here is a little funny. The frames have price tags on them but the price you are quoted always is less than the «ticket» price.
I paid for my pair upfront so I can get my receipt immediately and submit it for my benefit reimbursement. Since I’ve bought my last 3 pairs here I know I can trust them and that things will be just right.
They had my measurements from last time so they didn’t need to remeasure this time as my measurements were already stored on their computer system. I was in and out pretty quick which was good because I had somewhere to be right afterwards.
With Transitions lenses they have to send them out to a lab which takes about a week which is fine because I have errands to run on the east end next weekend anyway.
