Historique

Fondé en 1995.

LOREX Technology (formerly Strategic Vista International) designs, manufactures, and distributes video security devices for commercial and residential customers in North and South America, as well as in the UK. The company also provides digital video products through its Digimerge Technologies subsidiary. It has expanded its video security operations through the acquisition of Mansoor Electronics, a Canadian-​based provider of video surveillance products. Costco, Fry’s Electronics, Home Depot, and RadioShack are among its distributors. FLIR Systems, a provider of sensor systems, acquired LOREX in late 2012.
