This beautiful park is basically my home. Its paved path follows a circular fashion and encompasses a large lot of fresh green grass as well as a baseball diamond. With a few hills and slopes, it’s great for an exciting bike/scooter/rollerblade ride or perhaps an evening stroll. On the outskirts of the path(near the public school) lies two small public playgrounds that include a swing set and the typical castle slides. This is a rather old park so the playgrounds are not the«new and hip» ones with the rubberized surfaces — it’s still built on good ol’ sand. On weekends and weekday evenings, you can also use the public school’s basketball nets/funnel balls or play hopscotch/four square with your kids. Or if you’re a young adult like me. then y’know, play to reminisce your past. This park is well-maintained, regularly mowed, and the grass is always green. The sparsely located trees provide much-needed shade during hot summer days without dominating the grassy field that was undoubtedly made for frolicking(whether it be for soccer, flying a kite, or chasing a dog). Beware: There are a few benches located at intervals along the paved path but is often occupied by locals who like to just sit there for the entire day and bathe under the sun.
