Looks and tastes delicious! The store is located inside New Kennedy Square right at the food court. The prices can be quite expensive but for the quality and the portion sizes I’d say it’s worth it.
If you want the wooffles and cream, you first select your choice of egg waffle, soft serve ice cream flavour and toppings (or none). Once you place your order, they freshly make your waffle and allow it to cool before adding the soft serve ice cream. It may take a while to receive your order but knowing that everything is freshly prepared makes it worth the wait.
I ordered the original egg waffle with vanilla and matcha soft serve twist. The egg waffle was crispy on the outside with a soft warm centre. I loved how the soft serve wasn’t too sweet and the texture was creamy yet firm. Kevin ordered the cookies and cream egg waffle with strawberry cheesecake parfait. His wooffles and cream tasted amazing with the delicious strawberry sauce topping. Next time I will order that one!
I would say that one wooffles and cream is big enough for two people to share, but if you have a lot of room for dessert, one can finish the entire thing! I recommend Wooffles & Cream because the combination of the egg waffle and soft serve ice cream tastes amazing together and it’s definitely the perfect dessert to have on a hot day.

After reading the positive reviews and several personal recommendations to give this place a visit, I went and ordered their original bubble waffle and matcha soft serve.
The line was short but the wait time was still 20 minutes. The shop is in a food court of a Chinese strip mall so not the most romantic of atmospheres; best to grab it and maybe go for a stroll while eating it.
The bubble waffle was very disappointing. As others have mentioned it is a bit crispier than usual, but this may have been done to offset the soft serve ice cream. However, the flavor was bland and lacking in the rich eggy sweet flavor that bubble waffles are supposed to have.
On to the matcha soft serve. Again disappointing. The flavor is extremely weak, akin to the quality of green tea ice cream you’d expect to get at the end of all you can eat sushi buffet. The texture is very soft and creamy though, about the same as you’d get from McDonald’s soft serve.
Overall it doesn’t taste bad but extremely disappointing given the hype around this place, and considering the price and the wait time.

I’m usually not a big fan of soft serve ice cream, but this places ice cream is definitely the best soft serve I’ve had (thus far in my limited experience).
The place itself is ridiculously hard to find. It’s inside the mall, in the food court. I would recommend it as a take out thing because the atmosphere of sitting at the food court isn’t the most appealing. Yet for some reason, at 9:39pm on a Saturday night, there was a 45min wait just to get the egg waffles. There is something wrong with their operations. I wasn’t willing to wait that long so I settled for just getting the soft serve green tea ice cream. And it was honestly sooo creamy and good. Not only that, you could really taste the green tea in the ice cream, which I loved. I find that a lot of the times, the favours in ice cream are masked by a lot of the other things in the ice cream. But this was a perfect balance of cream and favour.
I would recommend this place for their ice cream for sure. But just a heads up that if you want the egg waffles, set aside time for them to make it.

Delicious bubble waffle and icecream concept. I’ve had the one at bang bang and was a little underwhelmed because i thought my bubble waffle was overcooked there. However, the one at wooffles and cream was crispy and delicate. Very delicious! We opted to have the matcha icecream and original bubble waffle and it was so good. My understanding is now they have a sesame soft serve and would love to go back to check that out!!!
Cash only as well when we went and the wait time for it is quite long because they wait for the bubble waffle to cool down before putting the ice cream in. Overall a good experience and definitely would return to try their new soft serve flavours!

Love the concept and was glad to see it pop up in GTA after seeing egg waffle cones all over IG. Unfortunately they missed the mark on the execution.
I got the OG waffle with matcha twist. The waffle was a bit too crispy and missing that signature fluffiness that egg waffles have. I get that it’s probably intentional so that it pairs well with the ice cream but meh. It also could have used a little more sweetness to it.
The ice cream was lacking as well. I got the matcha twist as I normally do to lighten up the matcha taste, but there was very little matcha flavor to begin with. Next time I would go full matcha, and even then I’m not sure that would be enough matcha flavor.
Service was friendly. Wait time is usually 15 minutes not including standing in line. If you walk into the mall looking for the place, don’t be like me following the unit numbers, because you aren’t gonna find shit. Just head straight towards the stage area in the food court. It’s right there.

I finally tried Wooffles & Cream after seeing so many great reviews of it on Unilocal,Instagram, and having a small sample of it at a past Unilocal event. It was everything I could have dreamed of and more!
It was a little hard to find because I didn’t realize it was just a tiny little place in a food court in a mall I’ve never been in (they need to expand!!!)
I ordered the green tea vanilla swirl ice cream with a cookies and cream waffle. It was actually to die for. My boyfriend and I shared it because I would have hated myself if I ate my own. Although I totally could have no problem.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely return! Only on a cheat day though: P

Located in the centre of the food court, Woofles & Cream will entice you with their smell and delight you with their delicious egg waffles and ice cream.
I got the cookies and cream waffle with the vanilla/​matcha twist ice cream and it was so friggin good. You know what the problem with some egg waffles is? It’s too soft and gets soggy easily! These egg waffles are cooked longer and to a crisp, holding it’s crunch despite surrounding a mountain of soft serve ice cream. Each waffle is made fresh to order so you can expect a 5 minute wait.
As for the soft serve, it’s the best kind of soft serve too — not too melty, if you get what I mean. The matcha flavour was also light and not overpowering. Can’t wait to get more!!!
Bonus: The workers are super super nice.

We visited on a Saturday evening and to our surprise, there wasn’t any long lineups or anything. Before, I had heard that there were lineups but I guess everyone came by and tried it last month when they opened. The place is very small and there are no seats available. It’s actually inside a Chinese food court so there are plenty of tables nearby to enjoy your dessert.
Although I had looked at their menu online many times, when we actually arrived, we had a very difficult time choosing! I asked the staff what was popular among customers, and we eventually ended ordering the sweet and savoury specialty waffle: Lap Cheong & Seaweed with matcha soft serve. I had to ask what Lap Cheong was, and I was told that it was a Chinese sausage. We weren’t totally sure how sweet and savoury tastes would turn out but we decided to try it as we were told that it was a popular choice.
We patiently waited and alas, our dessert was served. Interestingly, it was very good! The matcha soft serve was milkier than expected — I’ve had matcha soft serve with bolder matcha tastes such as at Uncle Tetsu, but overall it was great. The savoury waffle was delicious; its savoury tastes weren’t too overpowering which kept the dessert well balanced. We would definitely drive back here and reorder this! The price of the dessert was relatively cheap as well (less than $ 10) which we appreciated.
If I were to visit Wooffles & Cream next time, I’d love to try their blueberry parfait as I hear great reviews about it! Overall, if you’re a soft serve and waffle lover like me, you should check the little dessert place out! Location wise, it’s definitely not the most accessible place because it’s located all the way out in Markham, but for a cheap sweet dessert like this, I’d say it’s worth the drive at least once. Besides, there are so many good Chinese restaurants nearby that it’s best to make it a casual date night!
Service was great as the staff members were all very friendly and helpful. I checked out their Facebook page and found that they offered the seasonal Pumpkin Spice wooffle! Oh how I would’ve loved to try it… maybe they will have several Christmas flavours up their sleeve? I do wish their matcha soft serve had stronger green tea tastes to it, but that’s my only negative comment.

– My First Impression –
I have been to Wooffles and Cream so many times. It just happened they had the limited time offer for black sesame soft serve today. I couldn’t find a reason not to go. I was there at 5pm and there was no line up (lucky me). I asked the owner which wooffles go well with the black sesame ice-​cream. She suggested (1) Black «N» White Sesame; (2) Cookies «N» Cream; (3) Peanuts «N» Choco Chips or (4) Sesame «N» Seaweed if I want to try something savory.
I ended up picking (1) Black «N» White Sesame because I didn’t want the sweetness of choice (2) & (3) because it would affect the taste of the ice-​cream. I personally was not a fan of eating sweet and salty food together. It took me less than 5 minutes to order and pick up.
– Food and Drink –
I think my selection was correct. The toasted sesame made the wooffle less bland. I found the black sesame ice-​cream was sweeter than I expected. I hope they can adjust the portion by increasing the taste of the sesame and make the soft serve less sweet. Yet, the wooffles was still quite crunchy and the icecream was very soft and creamy. I like how the melted sesame icecream didn’t affect the texture of the wooffles.
– Overall –
Personally, I like their matcha soft serve more than the black sesame one. I hope they can adjust the portion and make the black sesame taste stronger and less sweet. I will come back for their wooffles and matcha ice-​cream.

Love the name, but only like the woofles/​cream.
I think it’s because I don’t think the prices are very fair — for all over Markham, you can find woofles that are more crispy-​shelled, less hollow, and tastier. The ice cream portions are tiny once you’ve realized the swirl is hollow and isn’t especially creamy, milky, nor very powerfully matcha/​vanilla-​tasting. Though the woofles have undeniably creative flavours, the price markup for creativity is just too high for me considering longstanding, woofle «experts» within ~5 minute drives are serving up better stuff at least a couple dollars less. That tiny palmful of extra ingredients aren’t enough to make the woofle taste *that* much different.
All this, plus the fact that you often have to wait like ~15+ minutes for an order feels silly. It takes the time for me to wipe out the entire world on my Plague game app to receive a woofle? Yeesh.

Yes I finally got to try this place, after seeing this posted on IG multiple times. This place is a small shop with food court seating, it’s located in the Kennedy Plaza and very easy to find.
Sunday afternoon, my sister and I went to visit the IG famous Woofles and Cream. I thought there would be a line and the 20 minute wait but luckily there was no line and we waited about 5 – 7 minutes. The person there was very friendly and explained the different flavours of waffle and soft serve available.
I got the Black n White Sesame Waffle with Matcha Green Tea Soft Serve and my sister opted for the Original Waffle with Vanilla Soft Serve. I believe each one was around 7.00 $ which is a decent price.
The waffle was ok not amazing, it had a crispy texture and tasted better with the soft serve. No complaints with the soft serve either but it didn’t taste any different than others I’ve had.
Overall, I think it’s a nice treat but I wouldn’t wait in line for the 20+ minutes so I’m thankful for not having to wait this round. I might try other flavours for the waffles and give it another go.

Went here with my hubby and his family as I was curious to see if this place lives up to the hype. We came around 9:15pm and thankfully there wasn’t a very long line, as I had read from fellow Unilocalers that this place can get quite busy.
Woofles are like waffles but Hong Kong style with air pockets, and they can be made in different flavours like Chinese sausage or cookies and cream. After perusing the menu, hubby and I decided to share the green tea soft serve with a black and white sesame woofle. I quite enjoyed the crunchy, lightly sweetened woofle and found the sesame seeds gave it a slight nutty flavour and more interest than a plain woofle.
My in-​laws ordered the regular woofle with green tea soft serve but they ran out of the green tea flavour by the time my sister in law ordered and she was stuck with vanilla soft serve.
For the 3 woofles and soft serve, the total came to over $ 20. Kind of pricey in my opinion but in fairness, the serving size was pretty generous for sharing. I also found at the time I went that the wait time for the woofle even after ordering took something like 20 minutes.
Will probably return another time to try some of the other flavours.

Okay, wanted to see what the hype is all about with people that have waited anywhere from 1 – 3 hours… yes you heard me right… I know some people personally that have waited 3 hours on the weekends for this!
If I ever had to wait more then 15 mins for a food court item then I would rather not order.
I went on a Wednesday with my kids during a break from their swim classes at about 6pm and there was no wait at all. You hear that people who waited 1 – 3 hours… no wait at all!
Interesting combos for sure but I wanted to take a safe bet with the kids and got the Cookies and Cream with Matcha/​Vanilla twist. Total time takes about 5 mins and everything is made to order.
These were really good I have to admit. The egg waffles are way more crispy then traditional ones which are normally softer but this allows one to easily break off the egg waffles to eat with the ice cream. Portions are a good size and can easily be shared between two people unless you are greedy of course:)
Two girls manage the store and are very nice. I can sew how the place gets slammed as its just them with 3 waffle machines. Definitely would come back to try other combinations but not if I have to wait 1 – 3 hours:). Again people, no need to wait 1 – 3 hours!!!

It’s a great place to get desserts after dinner in the area. Woffles were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Woffles pair perfectly with soft serve ice cream.
I had the sesame woffles and matcha soft serve. Matcha was nice and rich, mildly bitter (green tea); I love it. If you love green tea, then this is a MUST.
My hubby had original woffle with soft serve blueberry cheesecake parfait. The parfait was delish; creamy and rich, little chunks of cheesecake.
The parfait is on the pricier side though $ 6.5 just for parfait.
We both enjoyed it very much. Service was nice and friendly. Prices include taxes already I think. Will return

I went to this place after hearing about all the hype regarding it, i expected it to be pretty good, given all the reviews and commentary. What i came up with is it is seriously a disappointment, and on top of it is overpriced. This woofles and cream does not have a very extensive menu to start with. Its choices in ice cream are limited to only really 2 flavors. the waffle which is hong kong style waffle, is not good, the batter is not good, the texture is not good. the ice cream is not good. the pinapple was a very sour canned pineapple, which i don’t even know how that is possible other then pinapple that they had left out in the warm for a while. the ice cream is nothing special. and the syrup in the mango was really all they put in it.
the price for this waffle and ice cream was 10 dollars. 10 dollars for something like this, which is at best a half effort attempt at creativity.
i would recommend against trying it, there are so many better desert places. to try this one.

No lineup at all, although had to wait 5 minutes after ordering. Had the peanut and chocolate chip waffle ($ 4.50) with matcha ice cream ($ 3.50). Tax included.

Heard a lot about this place so decided to give it a try. It’s a small unit on the side of the food court at Peach Tree Plaza (Next to the stage).

Only thing was the wait was a bit long, cause they need to make it on the spot. They only had 2 egg waffle grills and only 1 person was making them.
I would try again if the wait is not that long :)

The first time I came here their ice cream machine was broken and I was really sad. However, one of the girls felt bad and gave me a «free ice cream card» to use next time — so sweet!
The next time I came I ordered the Sesame Waffles with the Vanilla and Green Tea Ice-​Cream twist. It was delicious. The soft serve ice cream was really smooth and creamy, while the «woofles» was nice and semi crispy. I’m a fan of this place but compared to Bang Bang Ice-​cream, I’d say they’re lacking a bit. It’s unfortunate that there is only a limited selection of ice cream flavours (vanilla and green tea only). All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely come back while in the area.

Managed to go to Wooffles and Cream while the weather was still nice and warm. We thought the line up was going to be long when we got there around 4−5pm, as I read Unilocal reviews that someone had to wait 1.5hr to get their dessert — why 1.5hrs? But to our surprise, the line was actually pretty short! As we lined up, one of the female workers (who I also assume is one of the owners) was telling others that they’ll be taking names and numbers for a wait-​list as they weren’t sure if they had enough batter for their waffles.
And that’s when I realized what that Unilocal reviewer was talking about. The line to get on the wait-​list was maybe around 20 minutes, I gave the girl my contact information and our orders — while she explained more about the wait-​list situation. Not knowing how long we were going to wait, we went to Markville mall which is about 10 – 15 minutes by car, just to run some errands.
The girl called about 40 – 50 minutes after, and when we got to the store, they were halfway closed! So I guess me and V were pretty lucky to get to sample their dessert that day. As they were halfway closed, the two workers are more casual and easy going. They were mentioning how they get so busy on the weekends but on the weekdays, they would «just be sitting there watching dramas».
I got the Cookies and Cream Wooffle with Vanilla and Matcha twist soft serve, whereas V ordered the basic Wooffle with Vanilla soft serve. Our total was about $ 17, and total wait time was roughly 1hr — 1hr 20minutes tops. They do sell other flavoured «wooffles» such as Chinese sausage (lap cheong) and seaweed, limited time bacon and cheese, salt and pepper, as well as parfaits that look really amazing, and Italian sodas I believe.
Upon stalking their Instagram a little bit, I’ve discovered that the owners’ are siblings with the last name is «Woo», which I assumed is why they’ve named it «Wooffles» instead of waffles, which is super creative in my opinion.
I have to say that I was not disappointed by the food as the «wooffle» was uniquely mixed with another flavour and the twist soft serve was a good balance for both the match and vanilla taste. However, for that wait time and price, I would most likely not go again — maybe just once in a blue moon, but the food is definitely not anything out of this world.

I first heard about this place via Blog TO and have been wanting to try this place ever since as I am a big fan of waffles and ice cream. Woofles is located at New Kennedy Square. On weekends this place is very busy so it can be hard to find parking. This place is actually located inside the plaza near the food court.

I decided to try the limited edition coconut and sticky rice woofle with matcha vanilla twist ice cream (lunar new years special?), while my friend decided to try the original woofle with some nuts and red bean toppings and matcha ice cream.
The coconut sticky rice woofle was interesting and pretty unique. Crispy on the outside and soft and airy on the inside with some coconut bits. They give generous amounts of soft serve ice cream. You can kind of taste the matcha flavour but probably not the strong vegetal taste. As for the portions it is definitely good for sharing. As for the other woofle, it was pretty interesting too. It was lightly sprinkled with some almond powder, walnuts, matcha syrup, red bean, and honey crisp cereal on the side. Good place to try for an after lunch or dinner dessert
