Ladybug Cafe

This place has modest aspirations which are largely fulfilled. It is very clean and bright and has a great summer patio. Informal serve yourself concept. Reasonable prices. Garden+ Caesar salads were crisp fresh (they even made a homemade 1000 island dressing on request!) Fine quality dessert counter (obviously a passion) beef dip, turkey sandwich a bit finely shaved were good. A homemade soup special was very good Such kind people.; therefore the lunchtime lineup. Special orders on request– try the chicken cordonblu wrap. Nice wines by the glass.
This place has ironed out a few kinks and upgraded and refined their product

The Ladybug Café is truly the worst place I think I have ever been to in my life!
I do not like the whole set up at all, you have to go to the counter to order what you would like and pay for it ahead of time, what if I am unsatisfied with my meal? I do not think I should have to pay for something before I have received it.
Also they will not give you a glass of water, it’s all «help yourself». Why would I want to drink piss warm water that has been sitting in a jar for god knows how long? When you ask for ice cubes or even cold water for that matter, be prepared for the rude uncalled for attitude!
I disliked it when it was Freda’s and I truly dislike it now. I do not care what restaurant opens up next in this location because I know it’s only a matter of time before this place fails as they have no idea how to keep customers happy or even to smile (:
