Where do I start? Walk in last night and not really greeted warmly. We request a booth and get one right away. 6pm on a Saturday night. Why is this place dead? We ordered the artichoke dip to start. If comes and the first thing I notice is that there are only a handful of tortillas, and six wedges of pita, which was so dry it crunched like chips. Normally the amount of chips wouldn’t phase me except the portion size of the dip was huge. The dip itself looked like someone else started eating it, and it was so runny you couldn’t even keep any on the chips. We ask for more chips to dip, and is told its an extra dollar. Are you kidding me? then they bring the extra chips and its literallly a bowl with maybe 10 more tortilla chips. No pita. You charge me a dollar for not bringing me enough chips in the first place and then don’t even give me any pita?! Just as I’m becoming annoyed at the chip/dip situation I notice our entrees come out. YOUJUSTGAVEUSMORECHIPS. Maybe let us finish our appetizer before bringing our entrees. I had buffalo chicken fingers and fries. It’s a pet peeve of mine when restaurants chinse you on fries, but not uncommon. My fingers weren’t bad, but definitely not worth $ 14 for 5 fingers. My friend had a questionable sandwich(which she had asked to make a simple request of a different type of bun/bread — to be told no because it’s grilled. This screams premade food to me) that looked huge and delicious. Is that deep fried cheese? Too bad the sandwich just tastes burnt. She even opened the sandwich up to see if the chicken was burnt. Nope. So why is the only flavour she can taste is burn? All 3 of us had to physically ask our waitresses for more drinks because we were thirsty. I even had to give up my iced tea refill to my friend who is 8 months pregnant so she could have a drink as our waitress seemed to forget about her water. The only reason this place is getting 2 stars and not 1 is because the manager comped the bunt sandwich. Will NOT be back. $ 70 bill for 3 people and a full entrée was removed. The food quality and service don’t merit the prices this place charges.

Does anyone actually go to Casey’s on purpose? It’s usually every other place in town has a lineup. You go nothing stands out. The food is okay but you will never tell anyone«you have to go to Casey’s». After you go on forgettable. About every two years or so you give it a try and are completely unimpressed.

I really like Casey’s. I’d say that it’s a notch above the Boston Pizza that’s located in the same shopping center when it comes to the quality of food and the service, but you can still sit at the bar and enjoy a good game over a good beer. They have a diverse menu at Casey’s. They’ve got steaks, ribs, and«asian inspired» courses. I’ve tried the Pad Thai, and it was a huge serving. It was also just spicy enough for my liking. On another occassion, I tried their Steak Oscar. mmmmm… Bearnaise sauce. Makes my mouth water… lol. Their desserts aren’t too bad, either. Their mini desserts sure do hit the spot. I hope to see more restaurants like this popping up in the area.
