I have spent a good deal of time here in my last two weeks in Toronto since I’m staying at the Best Western here in Milton. There’s some decent eats here at Troy’s. It stays true to its diner roots. Doesn’t make big promises. It won’t really wow you. But it’s consistent & the people that come here look like they’re having a good time. Whether it’s Sunday brunch, after-hour beers & some sports coverage, or a Tuesday night knitting circle, this place is buzzing. It’s nice to see… especially on these really cold nights. My only gripe is that they run pretty short staffed, so it takes some time for them to come and take your order and get your check. The food comes out quickly though, so you don’t have to worry about that. Faves: Steak & Lobster Mac ‘n Cheese Deep Fried Cheesecake(so bad… but sooooooo gooooooood) Note: If you’re staying at the Best Western, they’ve been known to slip 10% off coupons under your doors. =D
