Terminal 3 International Departures lounge is outstanding. A hot food buffet, a wide selection of hot, cold, and alcoholic drinks, desserts, wraps, and even shrink wrapped sandwiches to take on board your flight are all available. The lounge was quiet, the bathroom facilities feel very high end, and I cannot recommend this lounge enough for a relaxing start to your trip.

I am not sure why people would spend money to stay in this lounge(International Terminal 1). The food was unappetizing. There is better food and drink in the regular area as well as nicer seating. The lounge was not particularly quiet with people talking and some annoying hum from the aircon. Bathroom was out of soap, broken paper towel dispenser, empty Kleenex box. No place to stretch out. The leather chairs are comfortable, but nothing special. No décor to speak of. The aesthetics, and layout for work is better in the very nice terminal. I am sorry I wasted one of my passes on this place.

I visited the Plaza Premium Lounge that was for domestic travellers(Canada to Canada destination). The lounge was comfortably decorated, There were sofa seating, a long dining table for diners in a rush, and a computer workstation area. A self-served kitchen featured steamy hot entrées, fresh salads, juices, alcoholic beverages(beers, wines, and spirits) and a variety of hot beverages. I liked the hot entrée food. It was proper dinner food. It tasted fresher and better than the food at many dining spots in the airport. The selection of alcoholic beverages was not wide. However, since it was self served, you could drink as much as you want. I guess the pro outweighs the con by a large margin. As I have been to the Maple Leaf Lounge run by Air Canada at Pearson, I couldn’t help but compare the two. This Plaza Lounge is smaller. It has fewer windows. The seating area is less spacious. The food and beverages of both lounges are comparable.

I usally go to the Air Canada lounge. I have started to change and go here now. It is much quieter and less busy than the AC Lounge. Food choices are a bit better. Liquor selection is more limited though. If you just want a quick bite before a flight. I recommend this place to try.

Service is friendly and place is very well kept. Great way to relax before your flight out. Located at T1 at Pearson Airport between the dury free shops. You can take the stairs or elevator up.

This lounge is a little tough to find. It is quiet for an airport lounge and I like that. There are lots of drink options. While there were not very many food options the staff made sure that the food was hot and fresh. The staff could have cleared the tables more frequently. There are a few big screens to watch.

I went to the Premium Plaza lounge at YYZ — terminal 1. I’ve been to a number of lounges throughout Asia and North America and I must say this is one of my favourite in North America! The sitting area was not super big but it was clean and the support staff was super polite and helpful! I arrived on a wednesday afternoon and it was not super busy like all the Star Alliances lounges usually are. What I was most impressed with was the assortment of food and drinks! There was seafood pasta, BBQ park(char sui), salad bar, cup noodles, salad bar, cereal and an assortment of dessert. The food wasn’t premium quality but I was hungry and had lots of pasta and soup! I’d definitely come back!

On my way to Hong Kong, I was riding via EVA Air to YYZ to TPE to HKG and instead of the usual Maple Leaf Lounge, I had to go to this Plaza Premium Lounge. The seats are actually quite uncomfortable in this lounge and the place wasn’t that clean either when I went. They had dim sum that didn’t look that appetizing. Coffee machines are the usual. I’m just really thankful that I didn’t have to pay for this. But i’m really sad that I had to end up in this lounge. I can’t believe people actually pay to get into this lounge. Go play with the iPads out with the rest of the cool kids.

There are 5 Premium Plaza Lounges at the YYZ airport. This review is for the one located at Terminal 3. This is one of the better airport lounges I’ve been to. Very large lounge with plenty of seating space, a couple LCDTV’s playing CP24 news and plenty to eat and drink. Both times I’ve visited was early morning, and they have lots of offerings to sastisfy the grumbling stomach. Scrambled eggs, sausages, a small salad bar, cereal, and yogurt amongst a number of other things. Drinks were self serve in a fridge located in the middle of the lounge, alcoholic beverages are not offered until later in the afternoon so I didn’t get a chance to see what they had to offer. Overall one of the better lounges out there, great staff, always clean and the food options are always appreciated.

Always clean lounge area, washrooms and food area. Helpful staff. Hot food with changing varieties. Cold beer and alcohol. Various hot /cold beverages. Well spaced for semi privacy.

The plus side with these lounges is they never seem to be busy! It’s a refreshing change from the craziness you experience in the rest of the airport. The hot food is nice, especially for breakfast if you have an early flight.

There are different lounges for Plaza Premium/Priority Pass and I don’t remember which one I went to recently. For those who frequent the PP lounges though, if I explain it, I think you will know which one I went to. Unfortunately, I have been to better PP lounges(re: my other review of the lounge in Terminal 3). The one I went to(Terminal 1 I believe) was a tiny, small one upstairs hidden in a corner. It had a small food bar with limited selections of breakfast items… I had a dry hash brown and a dry egg… the theme of the day surely was d.r.y. Nothing else was available except signature cereal, tea’s and coffee. The breakfast sausage wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t pay the $ 30 odd dollars to come to this PP lounge. This one, unlike other reviews, didn’t have the expansive windows overlooking the runway. In fact, this one is contained within the terminal. No shower facilities. 3 computers with free internet. Imho, adequate enough but value only if you have the Priority Pass membership, or the Platinum/Centurion AMEX card. No need to pay extra money for this PP lounge.

Food is fine, lots of good drink options, easy to grab a bagel or yogurt on the way out. I found it comfortable, cool, and quiet. Will be coming back.

A decent lounge that is available for free for premium Amex card holders(Centurion, Platinum…) I prefer this lounge often over the Air Canada lounge despite my Air Canada status for a few reasons. Firstly it is quiet here. So when it is like a nut house at the Maple Leaf lounge, the Plaza Premium lounges can be an oasis of calm amidst the craziness of peak travel times. This lounge has no beers on tap, but they do have Heineken in a can and a decent food selection. Compared with the AC lounge they have at least hot breakfast options. Instead of only toast or cereal, they have eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and other items. If you are on a 6am flight meaning you have been up since at least 4:30am it is nice to have some real food to start your day instead of just carbs and sugar. I would like to say finally that I appreciate that the staff at the this lounge keeps things spotless. Recommended especially if you can get in for free.

We used the lounge during a recent trip from Edmonton down to the Dominican Republic, with a wonderful 5 hour layover in Toronto. This is the first«premium lounge» I’ve used; it was $ 64 for my wife and I to spend 3 hours here, and it was money well spent! The biggest draw for us were the comfortable seats, and the peace and quiet. We had a late-night flight, and got into Toronto early in the morning, so we didn’t need the commotion of a busy airport. We were in the Terminal 3, Domestic lounge, which unfortunately doesn’t have a shower(the other lounges do), and I could have really used one. There isn’t a huge selection for breakfast, but I had some toast, cereal, a few muffins(they’re very small), some fruit, and some juice. They also have soft drinks, and they serve alcohol(after 11 am), which go well with the peanuts and pretzels they have. If you’re thinking about trying out the lounge, search online for some 20% off coupons. You can book online, but I’d recommend just going in when you want to use the service; they certainly weren’t busy while we were there, but probably fill up later in the day.

There are 5 different Plaza Premium Lounge in the Toronto Pearson Airport alone! The lounge we usually frequent is that one in Terminal 1 for US Transponder flights. There are tons of windows in the lounge and have good view of the runway. The seats are comfortable and cushiony. There are machines for you to make your own freshly brewed coffee, expresso and cappuncino. The breakfast selection is really nonexistent though. they have this funny rubber looking and tasting eggs… and some cookies and bread… There are alcoholic drinks like beer… but I never drink them since I always there at 7AM zzzzzzzzzz I just need my coffee… There are a place for showers if you prefer… And WIFI access with the password provided. I don’t think I will be paying $ 35+taxes to use the facilities! If you have the access as a perk. then run to the lounge! Free is ok… $ 35NOT good! :)
