I signed a contract with Jeff DeSilva of Reno Pros. I gave him a 50% deposit, Reno Pros delivered the interlocking stones initially to the wrong address. That got fixed within a day after calls from myself and the neighbour. Jeff had also arranged for a waste dumpster to be placed on my driveway by ML Disposal for the duration of the project, no more than 2 – 4 days. After missing the initial start dates Reno Pros finally started my project.(DAY1): Reno Pros did one day of work, while(DAY2&3): working secretly on another project, then dumping the debris of these project into the dumpster. Unknown to Reno Pros, my neighbours, who had similar projects to do were watching this all unfold, while I was at work. I confronted Jeff on this via text(on Day 3), as he had not answered my previous calls. He replied, via text taking no responsibility, then walking away from the job leaving the dumpster and garbage on my driveway; as well as a damaged driveway(from Heavy dumpster & content), damaged fence panels and post, a damaged wheel barrow and their abandoned, trashed wheel barrow. Thankfully I found another installer instantly(Anush paving) who did an amazing Job finishing the project for about the same cost. Anush has since picked up pretty much all the interlocking jobs in my neighbourhood, as well as another $ 10K job in Mississauga and other neighbourhood/family referrals. In the meantime, the police, the City of Toronto, my counsellor, and MPP’s offices, and neighbourhood contacts at ML disposal were contacted to force the removal of the dumpster, now overflowing with landscape waste and other garbage, since again jeff refused to answer my calls and email requesting its removal. A complaint was also logged with the Ontario Consumers protection agency and the BBB. I hope to upload photos in support of this review soon… Contract, images of job site in the condition as it was abruptly left. So as a consumer, you make up your mind if you want to use these guys! PS: I have just been reading other reviews from summer of 2013, and they all seem to share similar experiences — this company continues to be dubious at best with its dealings with consumers. This business has now been flagged by the Government of Ontario Consumers Protection Agency under the Consumer Beware list. see link below:
