Salmonella concern: I had been buying chicken here for a while. Recently I purchased two packages of 12 chicken breasts. The chicken smelled of rotten eggs when I arrived home. Google «chicken smells like eggs» and you’ll see that’s an indication of contaminated chicken. Not worth it.

Came here after my usual butcher closed down. It’s more than just a meat store to my surprise, they had bread, pastries, frozen pierogi’s and a wide range of other products. The prices for the meats are very reasonable and good quality, and they had a decent selection of different cuts. They have these ‘bacon chips’ by the deli counter, you should ask for a sample. It’s a little out of the way for me but would definitely make a trip back.

The best butcher in the city. The best quality products, and always fresh. They also have a good deli counter, and some frozen goods. They carry some bread and it looks like they are getting into veggies and some prepared items too, so thats always good, and they have large quantiy items also so if you are having the entire family over and need a 25lb roast well this is the place to get it. This is my new favorite go to place, and the staff is friendly, once they recognize you, the greetings are very friendly. Price is good, quality is excellent, service is good.
The only thing i wish they would add is butcher service for people who hunt wild game. I would rather take the catch there. Close to home is always better.
