Disappointing is how I describe this place in one word. I truly hope that the quality and value of the food for this establishment is only due to its placement in an airport rather than being a true representation of Wahlburgers. I got the«Our Burger» which claims to be ¼ lb. if this is indeed true, then this burger went through an incredible shrinking ray because it looked more like a slider sized patty. Aside from the size, it was cooked very well-done and had absolutely no seasoning. Bland behind bland which needed to be seriously rescued by some form of condiment. The sauce was pretty good although there just was not enough to save my mouth of the dry desert-like experience of swallowing that burger. For the price of this tiny offering, I would expect some fries included, but of course that was not the case. On the positive, the chain offers lots of variations and choices. Also, the bun and vegetables were fresh and quality, but if you are a burger place and cannot get the patty right, who gives a Shhh.

A disappointing experience. I was hoping it would be worth the wait since I got the wrong order twice, but aside from the décor and TVs, unfortunately there aren’t many positives. By far one of the most bland and tasteless burgers I have ever had. Perhaps I’m spoiled by Alberta beef, but I’d take Harvey’s or even a McDouble over a Wahlburger. The patty itself contained a lot of «less desirable» parts of the cow. I suggest not looking at the meat after you bite into it. The top bun was glistening in oil, and the bottom bun was stale and partially frozen… Definitely not worth the $ 15 for a burger and fries.

Burgers are kind of small and you have to pay for sides but the worst part is the service. They were not full at all and the bartenders took about 10 minutes to even look at me and the other new customers just sitting down. I wanted to get a water to start and that took forever to flag her down after I got the menu. Once ordering the water, I wanted to order a burger but she turned her back to get the water for me, poured the water in a cup, then proceeded to give another customer his bill. Once he had given her his credit card, she swiped his card and waited for him to sign before turning around and bring me my water. Terrible. I then wanted to order my food but she turned immediately and started helping someone else even though I tried to tell her that I wanted a burger. About 20 minutes after sitting at the bar, I finally had my water but still hadn’t ordered my food even though I was ready to order my food about 5 minutes after sitting down. I finally got my order in and waited about 20 minutes to get my burger. Maybe they have one chef in the back to make the burgers but seriously, the restaurant wasn’t even full and 20 minutes for a burger is way too long. Especially when it’s in the airport and people need to go. I considered just walking out because my flight was going to leave in 20 minutes but at that moment, I saw a waitress finally bringing my burger to my table. Burger-wise, it was plain and unsatisfying. Waiting for a 40 minute burger better be worth the wait and this one wasn’t. The burger itself was tiny and the meat had very little seasoning. I wanted onion rings but they decided to make onion strings instead. If I had known this, I would have just ordered fries because onion strings aren’t good. I think the only reason why this place gets any attention is because it is owned by the famous actors but seriously, this place sucks! I will never come back here again and strongly recommend others avoid this dump.

Don’t judge me for getting a burger and tots at 6:45am. I was so excited to see a Wahlburgers location at the Toronto Airport on the F concourse of Terminal 1 at Gate F67 that I could not help myself. The décor of the restaurant is very modern and … well … very green. The word art on the ceiling and the communal tables that dominated the center of the restaurant must make for an active scene when the concourse is busy. Early in the morning, however, things were pretty quiet. I was glad it was slow because it gave my server, Gail, a chance to be absolutely amazing. She guided me through the menu — eventually convincing me that the OFD was the way to go. I am glad she did. The OFD is a mushroom swiss burger, but it was so much more than that. A flaky, buttery bun with a juicy, but a little salty beef patty. There were plenty of mushrooms, but if I had one complaint it was that the cheese slice was a little small. Gail suggested the tater tots and rewarded my decision to order them with a small cup of Wahl sauce to dip them in. Wahl sauce is a ketchup mayo combo that is charged with smoky and slightly spicy goodness. Check out Wahlburgers when you are at Pearson — it is worth it.

Got a BBQ Bacon burger and Wahlbrewski. The burger was a good size and cooked such that it was still juicy. They don’t skimp on the toppings and cheese. The avocado paste kind of gets lost in the other toppings. All in all, I’d have it again. This beats so many of my Pearson airport food experiences.

Burger Patties were way smaller than the bun. Sweet Potato Tots were half of the cup. The Location by the Stadium is way better!

Sat here to have a few drinks before an international flight. The weight staff here seems unorganized and kind of unprofessional. Our waitress was eating food from home on her break at a table right next to us… we waited for ten minutes for another waitress to fill my wine. Okay to sit and wait for your flight especially since at options are limited at the end of Gate F(Terminal 1). Wish the service was a bit more on point.

Mediocre burger and the fries were served lukewarm. Not what I’d expect at $ 15 +tax/tip per plate but at the very least they could have had the Jays game on the tele. Golf plus domestic soccer on instead of a Jays home game at the bottom of the eight @ 8 – 8 vs the Sox is borderline unforgivable for a place called Toronto Pearson Airport. For shame. If I hadn’t said something we would have missed 2 amazing plays and a 10 – 9 win! The burger was Meh and the fries sucked plus the game came on wayyyy to late. I’ll stay near Starbucks next time at least the breakfast place had the game on…

Terminal 1, F concourse. This place is open early and they even serve breakfast. I’ve had the Originally from Dorchester at the original Wahlburgers in Hingham, Massachusetts and I have to say this one seems bigger and juicier than the one I remember from there. On the menu the OFD is listed as being a ½ burger while most of the others are 1⁄3 pounders. The juice/grease will drip a bit and the cheese was plentiful as were the mushrooms. Having a burger and fries around 6 in the morning isn’t what I’d normally eat for breakfast but hey if it’s available as the entire menu is why not? My wife went with the egg white and spinach omelette. The fries are nothing special. I remembered too late that the onions are really good. I should have gotten those instead and put them on my burger. I haven’t been to the Wahlburgers at the Soho Hotel, only this one at T1. The service seemed friendly and quick but it was very quiet as there were only a few patrons being so early in the morning.

Totally needed to have some comfort food — after a crazy night out before a flight out. I had the mushroom burger and needless to say, it was slamming! this is going to be my place to go every time I fly out!

My flight to Los Angeles was at gate F67. I then saw a sign saying that Wahlburgers was at the same gate. Perfect! It was lunchtime and I was ready to eat something new. The restaurant had a fast food area with snacks. You can also order hot food to go. I was asked by the greeter whether I wanted takeout or dine-in. I’ll went with the latter, as I had an hour to kill before boarding my plane. I was then asked whether I wanted a seat at the bar or at a table. Again, I chose the latter. I ordered the OFD(Originally From Dorchestah) burger. It had a ground beef patty with bacon, sauteed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and honemade tomato jam, all on a soft bun. The server asked me whether I wanted a side. I asked her how large the burger was. She said it was fairly large, so I opted out of getting a side. The verdict? OMG, this burger is through-the-roof delicious! Everything tasted fresh and flavourful. It is essentially a kicked-up version of a Swiss and mushroom burger with bacon. An extra shoutout goes to my server, Alexis. She was friendly, articulate, and helpful. She asked whether I wanted any snacks, as you can bundle that purchase with your restaurant meal. I was interested in getting a Clif bar to munch on my flight. She went to get all available flavours and laid them all on my table for me to choose what I wanted. If that isn’t super customer service, I don’t know what is. I thanked her just before I left. She told me that am a great customer and she enjoys serving«those ones» like me. Should I ever be around this gate in Terminal 1, I’d eat here again. Perhaps I’ll bring a bigger appetite, so I can get a side order of salad or tater tots. (104)

3.5 stars based on food taste and presentation as we did takeout instead of dining in. The basic burger is nearly $ 9, but for less than a dollar more, you can get the Our Burger, a 1⁄3 pound burger, beef cooked medium well, with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, «government cheese»(aka American cheese), and wahl sauce. The burger is served in a soft lightly toasted brioche bun which is ideal for sopping up some of the juiciness from the burger and sauce. Hubby and I ordered 2 Our Burgers and a side of fries. Although not the best fries ever, the thinly cut fries were pretty good and maintained much of their crispness despite a long trek from one end of Terminal 1 to the other. The novelty of burgers from the famous Wahlberger family is what prompted us to try this place(well, that and the fact that many of the other airport options by famous Canadian chefs are very pricy). They have some interesting sides options such as tater tots, sweet tater tots, salads, & macaroni salad. They have chicken and haddock dishes for those who don’t eat beef. Burgers can be made sans bun, with lettuce as wrapper. Desserts like banana fluffernutta are reminiscent of comfort food desserts. Apparently gluten free options are available, as was a portabella mushroom cap and salads for vegetarians. However at $ 10.25 for a mushroom cap, I’d prefer to get the burgers which in comparison seem to be a better value(you can pay up to $ 12.45 to get a triple patty Our Burger). They also have an fairly extensive breakfast menu which ranges in price from $ 2.99 for a muffin to $ 13.99 for a Dorchester Breakfast or French Toast. Will probably be back to try some of Wahlburgers other offerings.

Some times service and speed of preparation are more important than presentation. Like when your flight leaves in 50 minutes and boarding is in 20. For airport food, it was reasonably priced and the quality was fine. The Walburg empire delivered! As a side light the shroom burger was not to bad either. Will definitely eat here again at the next opportune time.

After all the tv show hype, it was nice to experience Wahlbutgers past its Boston Homebase The décor at the Post-security US departures is hip and modern, nice bulkheads with lettering with green themed seating and murals. There are communal very wide tables seating up to 8 people each which is a Nice touch, as is the«cheers» style round bar with great beers on tap and classic rock Serving as the background soundtrack. The take out kiosk was very greasy spoonish with what appeared to be prepackaged muffins in a clear display and a bunch of cliff bars… Meh… Now for the menu, I got excited about the OBF burger which is an 8oz grain fed beef patty for $ 11.95. Except… It only comes with«house made tomato jam, bacon, Swiss cheese & sautéed mushrooms». Well I only wanted an 8oz patty with lettuce tomatoes pickles and red onions and they said they can’t do that as «their cash register system isn’t set up for Those extra ingredients». Well that makes no sense! Take away the nice décor and This is a greasy spoon that is waaaaay overhyped from The family brand name’s fame. Modern or not, it didn’t leave me the best of impressions especially for something this simple as ordering what I wanted on their 8oz party which only goes with the OFD; keep your OFD I want to make my own when the ingredients were not what I wanted! Locally, Hero burger and others offer a flame broiled propose burger with healthy ingredients and sides along with a price point that may be high but comeasurates with the overall experience, not this tv show hyped grease hole! In the age of Chipotle style«have it your way»; $ 11.95 for a mediocre burger that is super extra greasy(the meat was fatty and the bun was bathing in the buttery spread it was smothered in) is not acceptable, airport or not! Wahlbutgers is not worth the hype and the price for the experience and all the grease it oozes … Next!

The burger was very good but not worth the price. I know it is in an airport but $ 10 bucks is overpriced. Edit: I have updated my review because after trying InandOut burger in Cali I realized that the quality of this burger is worth $ 10 bucks.

Airport food is usually overpriced and low quality. I accepted that reality when I sat down at Wahlbugers. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the regular burger whatever it was called. The 1⁄3 lb cheeseburger. It was fresh and juicy and cooked perfectly. Paul’s secret sauce is another varient of thousand island dressing or McD’s secret sauce. It cost $ 10. Normally this would be high. At an airport it is not outrageous, sadly. I also order the onion rings. They were overpriced at $ 4. I expected big rings like A&W. It was a shredded pile of shoestrings. Lots of batter and salt. Not a lot of onion. It looked like mock calamari to be honest. Sam Adams is on tap. Overall, a solid burger prior to a flight. The restaurant was relatively clean. The service was good.

Burgers were definitely old. The cheese looked like it was sitting under the heat lamp for way too long. My colleague and I were returning from a business trip and this location happened to be right across from our gate. So we thought we would get a burger before the flight boarded. Unfortunately, I read the boarding time incorrectly. We asked to cancel the burger but they said that it was ready for us and we could get it to go. Now the beers we ordered had just arrived. How can the beers arrive at the same time as the burger? And the policy is that the burgers have to be well done. We also ordered the house onion rings, which were a mess! It was one large ball of soggy and every very greasy sliced onions. We ended up throwing those out entirely. Very disappointing.

Sceptical at first but the first bite of the bbq burger has completely won me over. A burger topped with white cheddar, bacon, avocado and fresh jalapenos. A little spicy but packed with flavor. The bun is the right size and the slightly hard crust is prefectly made to hold the burger and contents in place while eating. Usually, airport restaurants are never as good as their brick and mortar namesakes but I have quickly forgoten that I was in an airport. Yes, The burger/food is that good. The only odd thing is why does everyone have luggage in this phenomenal fine burger establishment. Count me in as a regular. It is now mandatory that I visit Wahlburgers with every trip to Toronto.

Yay, great airport food. I love this place. My breakfast option this morning at 10:45. I’m so excited I have a great burger option while waiting for my flight to start boarding. Staff is so super friendly. Food is fresh and made to order. I’m in Toronto a lot so I will be back, many times.
