Mondev Construction

I had a very bad experience with Mondev and I would recommend to anyone NOT to buy a condo from them.
I was shopping for condo in my area and found 2 mondev project wich were offering interesting prices in comparaison to the other construction in the neighborhood.
We made multiple visits with the vendors to talk about the different options/​project available.
The vendor was often late, forgot the keys to the building, didn’t have the contracts or the plans. We often had to bring those ourself or seem to have more information about the project that he did himself.
After multiple visits We took a decision to buy a unit in a yet to be built project. The night before the signatures, I noticed the occupency dates of the projects had been pushed by a full 8 months.
The vendor wasn’t aware of this and we were very bothered by the whole thing, he assured us that if enough unit were sold there would be no issue getting our units delivered on time.
Since we were a bit bothered by the whole thing, the vendor offered us deals in the other construction which was moved-​in ready but we still decided to wait for the other project.
We then had all of our paper work ready and finally met and signed the preliminary contract to officially bought the condo. Everything seems fine.
The week after, still no signature from the constructor on the preliminary contract, we contact the vendor to get told that the project will be canceled all together and will be used for rentral units instead.
We are obviously very upset with the situation, we requested for the units that we signed for get constructed as planned, which they refused.
The deals previously offered on the other projects got also dropped, leaving us obviously very frustrated.
I believe Mondev is very unprofessional and not very respectul of their clients.
I would suggest against giving any money to people conducting buisiness that way.
