Historique

Fondé en 1992.

A Part of Our Heritage

In 1875, Jean-Batiste Pratt and his brother Charles-Ferdinand built a solid stone building in the heart of what we now know as «Old Montréal.» The space has housed grocery stores, fabric merchants and many other commercial tenants over the past 100 years. It’s most recent change, arguably its best, happened in 1992, when this historic building near the Old Port became the Pub St. Paul, a beloved hangout with good food and live music for tourists and locals alike.

«Ain’t Nothing Saintly About It!»

The menu itself is a cartoon drawing of Inferno, where cute little red demons dance around sinfully delicious food. Break your diet’s commandments and try the St. Paul burger, loaded with cheese, bacon, onions and mushrooms. Have a melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake for dessert.

Over the years, Pub St. Paul has hosted Eric Lapointe, the Tea Party, Ozzy Osborne drummer Tommy Aldridge, Too Many Cooks and original Beatles drummer Pete Best.
