Winnie’s Bar & Restaurant specializes in alcohol of all forms and of course our fabulous menu.

Our alcohol specialties include: 2 for 1 Happy Hour — 7 days a week from 5P. M — 8 P.M., our very popular Pitchers of Sangria and fantastic bartenders.

Winnie’s is famous for its Friday lunch table d’hote which includes the very best Roast Beef in Montréal and our Friday Lasagna. On our regular menu, many people are fans of our Fish N’Chips platter, Chicken Wings, The Winnie’s salad and our Creole Jambalaya.

Most of all, our staff are amoungst the very best in the city.

Historique

Fondé en 1967.

Sir Winston Churchill Pub, the first pub on Crescent Street was founded by Mr. John Vago in 1967. His cheerful influence created a unique rapport with customers and staff alike. A decade later, Vago transformed the second floor into a bar with the warm ambiance of a living room, calling it Winnie’s. ”I had a theory that a bar should be like a living room,” he said. ”My philosophy is that the staff should be equal to the best customer. They should entertain each other, but stay professional.”

Today, Winnie’s is considered to be one of the hottest spots on Crescent Street. Karina’s Club Lounge opened in 1999, welcoming a new millennium and continues to attract those who want to dance the night away.

Occupying all four floors of all four buildings, The Sir Winston Churchill Pub Complex is considered to be the founding establishment of Crescent Street and a Montréal landmark.
