I was new in training and everyone kept expecting me to know everything even when I had been there for a week and I made a mistake the manager nena would flip out and curse at me saying how stupid I was because I had been there for ‘a long time’ even though in reality this happened when I had barely been there for over a week. I was in the kitchen and she swore at me, because someone called in sick and completely blamed me for that situation and blamed me for her errors in scheduling. I know at least 12 people who have quit because of this certain boss and I would really recommended someone higher up to fire her since no employees at all have a high opinion of her! My advice for the management… The boss Nena. Stop being selfish, rude, demeaning to their employees and maybe they wouldn’t have so many people quitting all the time… Nena the manger at northridge A&W. They have horrible food safety there as well like none of the employees(kitchen) are using gloves or any precautions. There is always hairs constantly showing up in the food. I was also working there one day I ordered a burger on my break I look in it, it’s mooshy, half cold and the most disgusting thing ever once I had eaten it. Not to mention there was hair on the(patty) burger! I had a couple bites and threw it in the garbage, but I ended up with food poisoning for about 7 hours, not to mention while working! it was absolutely awful! I would NOT recommend going or working here. It’s a shitty job and you get treated even worse, because of your level of work no matter if your a cook, cashier or whatever.
