Pita Pit

First off, I was never really a big pita fan.
However, I tried Pita Pit in New Minas a few weeks after it opened… and I have returned several times.
It’s a new store, so it’s bright and clean, the staff is friendly and all the toppings are neatly chopped and look much fresher than what is on display at the New Minas Subway.
The first couple times I visited the service was friendly but slow. So slow that two couples who came in while I was being waited on ended up walking out. As of late, the staff seem to have things under control and the service is nice and quick.
I usually get the Club with Ranch Dressing. I have learned to ask for lots of veggies and I find when you do this you get a huge pita at a great value. A good friend of mine who eats McDonald’s several times per week and didn’t know what a pita was has also tired it and turned into a regular customer.
If you have not tired Pita Pit and are a sandwich or sub fan, I suggest you give it a try and they will likely make a believer out of you too! They are open late, so if you want a snack before bed that won’t make you feel guilty, check it out!
I also hope those four customers who walked out during one of my first visits decide to give it another try.
