I have had the pleasure of attending a few celebratory occasions at La Perla. This banquet hall is unique in décor & location.
It seats up to 300 for banquets, with fantastic views of the Fraser river — it is located at the New Westminster Quay — River Market Mall. The dance floor is spacious & is just in front of the ‘balcony’ which transcends a feeling of dancing in the streets of Italy!
The food is catered by Orlando’s Catering & I just absolutely love the Risotto they make. It’s so delicious! On my last occasion there I had a beef shank that was so soft & seemed to melt in my mouth!
I’ve been very fortunate as well to have been there when the functions I attended had additional dessert provided by Tre Galli Gelato Café (located in the mall). Their gelato is mind blowing — try their salted caramel & lemon flavours!
One must see this hall to understand it, as its really too beautiful for words. Being able to look out at the Fraser River day or night is pretty spectacular while attending any function here!
