We offer a complete Custom Picture Framing service including a huge selection of picture framing mouldings, mattings and specialty glass. Whatever your project, needlework, petit point, posters, jerseys, awards, certificates, memorabilia, medals or simplify mounting, or Plak mounting, it will be done to perfection by our Master Framer/​artist Peter with over 40 years experience. Our focus is customer service and complete satisfaction. We work with our customers to ensure both their style and our expertise are incorporated into the framing of their artwork resulting in a treasure they will enjoy for a lifetime. We operate by appointment thus ensuring personal service over extended hours.

Historique

Fondé en 1946.

The Frame Shop has been serving New Westminster and surrounding areas custom framing needs since 1946. The present owner Peter B. began his apprenticeship in 1973 with the founder, Harry Lawson and later Peter Gerloff. Peter learned his craft from the ground floor up, cleaning artwork and crafting handmade mouldings and later restoring oils, hand cutting mattings and mouldings and practicing his unique design techniques. Peter B. purchased the business in 1989. The Frame Shop has received The Record’s Readers Choice Award, 12 consecutive years 2004 through 2015.

Peter and his wife Bonnie live in Queens Park in New Westminster with their two Shari Pei, Lolliepops and Juju.

They moved their business home to their Heritage House in 2008 so they could have more flexible hours to accommodate their customers caring shifts. They both enjoy the creative process of adding the perfect complements in framing to their customers unique artwork.
