Cap-​Tex Automotive is a small independent Mom and pop shop on the North Shore. We have been in business for the past 32 years. What makes us stand out on the north shore is our fair and honest approach to our customers. We do all mechanical repairs on North American and Japanese vehicles. We specialize in Ford diesel engines, propane and natural conversions and repairs. We are a BC certified inspection facility.

Historique

Fondé en 1983.

We started out in 1983 as the owners of a gas station on Capilano Road called Capilano Texaco. We were a full service gas station with 3 bays. 1988 Imperial Oil bought out Texaco Canada and we switched our name to Cap-​Tex Service Center. In 1990 we moved to an independent shop on Welch street and operated mechanical repair only, we stayed there until 2010. We are now located on 14^th street just of Pemberton. Much better location for customers.

I have been in the automotive field for the last 33 years with my husband. We started at a Texaco station on Capilano road in 1983. In 1990 we moved to a repair only shop on Welch st and were there for 20 years and then moved to our present location in 2010. We have always used the business model that when we work on a customers vehicle that we become that customers employee for the time that we are working on that vehicle. With that in mind we give the customer options on the repairs and work with their budget.
