Tastes nothing like real Indian food. Watery buttery chicken, stringy cheap tasting meat, flavorless vindaloo(isn’t vindaloo supposed to be spicy?) The portions aren’t exactly great for the price, I would say about average. It’s a typical food court Indian fare(maybe even below typical), not really worth your time unless you’re just looking to fill your stomach. I would rather spend a few dollars more and get something that tastes decent.

The food is quite good and the buttered chicken is definitely delicious. Their prices are quite fair and when as it’s getting closer to closing time, they often have a discounted $ 6.49(If I recall correctly) price for a 2 item combo meal with rice. For an Indian food court place, I would definitely say this place cannot get any better at all, especially with the price and the amount of delicious food you’ll be getting.

Indian fast food! At Halima it can’t get better than that! These guys always have«specials». The lunch special is always different and you can chose between vegetarian or not. They have the«end of the day special», two hours before the mall closes they want to sell all the food possible so for less than $ 6 you can walk out with a huge take out. Usually it is 3 items plus rice. Their curries are pretty decent, my favorite is the mushrooms curry(yum!). I like their butter chicken because it is different! It isn’t the regular sweet/spicy butter chicken, it is not too spicy, very creamy and savoury. You can also choose between basmati or brown rice. The staff is nice and the prices are reasonable(if they don’t have specials, the prices are ok if you compare the food with the rest of the food court). Did I mention their portions are pretty big?. I usually get two meals out of one take out. Halima has fed my cravings when I am busy doing shopping or whatever at the mall. I give them 3 stars! ;)

Turn up the heat! When you only have a 30 minutes lunch break, this place takes the cake! A long time food court favourite, I often venture here even when I am not on the clock. Frugally price daily lunch special, $ 7.99 you can’t beat it(3 items plus rice). There is always left overs to take home. I usually only order one item(brown rice included) because of the humungous(American) Portions. You can also mix and match everything on the menu, including meat with vegetables and vice versa at no additional charge. Everything on the menu is oozing with flavour, but not over powering with Curry Spices. I find that the Halima grill has mastering the art of Masala, now if they just served Chai Tea…
