Great customer service and very knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend the «happy chicken.» It is local, free range, hormone free, and corn and sunflower fed. And freakin delicious!.. I wasn’t convinced I would be able to tell the difference but I was so wrong. This is the most flavourful chicken I have ever tasted EVER! Life changing.

These guys just keep getting better and better. I frequently go for sandwiches at The Meatery and how they’ve started a line of house made products that they sell in the butcher shop to take home for my dinners. The products are always changing and the staff are always very knowledgeable.
Also the best steaks in town.

Im on the verge of loving you Windsor meats in the village. Especially since you now have the Meatery, a fine little sandwich shop attached to you, but I have a few bones to pick with you, and then you will be perfect!
First, you have fantastic house made sausage that is well seasoned. I think Lepp has the best, but you’re a runner up for second. Love your blueberry boar sausage for breakfast, your great spicy merguez and your lovely nor overly fatty chorizo.
Like a good meatshop you have some great house made marinades for your meats. Love the chimmichurri and goa curry blends for your chicken and pork. First bone to pick… each time I have gotten. Some pre-​cut marinated chicken breast or pork the sizes have been completely different. So for a big family dinner I got 4 chicken breasts of varying sizes, one so small that it was almost cruel to serve while others had big juicy pieces. Same with the last time i got a few goa marinated pork loin chops one was God like, the other was a mere scrap. I will be checking now before I leave the store.
Love your selection of local pies and cheeses but most things border on the extremely expensive, even the meat. Some things are worth the price, but mostly not.
