Worst Experience with a mechanic ever !!!
Did some shopping around; looking to replace my front wheel bearings. Drove to Superfix and spoke to a gentleman who was too busy to give me a quote. Asked me to call him later on and when I did he kept asking for more time, called back 3 times until I finally got a quote; $ 250.00 which sounded great.
I asked how long with would take since I work afternoons and was told to drop it off early the following day and it would be ready before I needed it for work. (1pm)
Sad to say but it wasn’t ready, aside from that the price of the fix doubled, it was now $ 250.00 each side. According to the gentleman he thought I just wanted one done although I made it clear that if I got one done I should get them both done as any good mechanic would know.
Got the car back and the problem still existed which he was now blaming on the winter tires, although we are still in March. As if all this wasn’t bad enough I did a quick inspection and found that the head on the bolt which holds the hub assembly was missing. The sensor which is held by this bolt was being held by two «tie wraps» The mechanic broke the bolt tried to say that he never noticed it was broken… really…
I argued until he finally fixed the broken bolt (took 6 hours)
In the end when I asked for an adjustment on the price to rectify the fact that the problem still existed and the fact that they tried to hide their mistake I was simply ignored.
Friendly advice would be to avoid this place.
