We recently built a house and when it came time to find tiles for the floors and bathrooms we went to many different tile stores. But of all the stores that we went to, X-tile has not only a great selection but also very good prices! They have clearance offers as well as brand new styles! With two locations in the GTA they usually have everything in stock ready for pick up. The showroom may not be as fancy as some of the other places but they don’t have the exorbitant prices either! Some tiles are at least 50% less than at some other tile shops. For any suggestions in terms of colours, style and selection the best person to talk to is Edward. He knows his business and is extremely helpful! I can only recommend X-Tile for any tiling needs!

Évaluation du lieu : 1 Toronto, Canada
I went to X-Tile Canada after seeing a full page ad in the Style At Home magazine, and I was overwhelmingly disappointed. Claimed as «Style and selection all under one roof,» and«one of the largest kitchen backsplash selections in North America,» and«traveled the world to bring you over 1 million square feet of the latest design trends» in their ad, I was expecting a large, nicely designed showroom with quality and tasteful tiles under quality lighting, but it was like any mom & pop tile stores you see in the southern Vaughan/Concord area and their store felt more like a convenience store. They don’t have a clearance centre(as stated in their ad), just a pile of sample boards sitting in a few bins in the corner of the showroom, and they all look hideous(something you see people rip out of their own homes), and even the sales person there told me not even to look at those. Looking at the wall that represents their entire inventory(very little selection and already looking dated) and the labels on them, looks like X-tile only carries just a handful of manufacturers and of those they look like knock offs of other manufacturers products. I was looking for stone or marble tile, which they do not carry(or at least I didn’t see), and the sales person tried to persuede me to go with ceramic or porcelain instead. There was one particular porcelain tile I was looking at which I could get at Olympia Tile for less and at a much better quality. Definitely a waste of a drive, you could do much better elsewhere(definitely check out Ciot and Olympia on Lawrence St.).
