I love this place for their meats, and most of all for their Biltong. I really should keep this place a secret, don’t want the Biltong to run out.

As an expatriate SA, this takes care of my boerewors, melktert, koeksisters and sosatie cravings. Never cared for biltong but they have it there. The quality of the meat is second to none and the place is absolutely spotless. They carry Mrs. Balls’ (yes folks, that’s the name) chutneys in different flavours and an array for SA spices. The Durban curry masala is available there and its my all-​time favourite. A bit of a drive to get there but worth it. Professional counter staff.

Fantastic place, well off the beaten path. I found this place on-​line when looking for South African meat products for a friend. If you ever need Biltong, this is your place.
Meat counter is incredible for t-​bones and sirloins; the sirloins weren’t as marbled as I typically like, but a good piece of meat nonetheless. Brilliant for veal shanks, too. The selection of coiled sausage-​type meats are well represented. Fridge/​frozen food area have your standards and a few difficult to find items (rendered duck fat, for example). Seasonings, marinades, a bit of everything for the meat lover and I. Love. Meat.
Apparently you can call your orders in and just pick up when you’re free. Wish I’d known that.
A really friendly staff are ready and willing to help you pick your favourites out. Quality is wonderful, without the Whole Foods mark-​up.
