This park is connected with the Iroquois Community Center and has a great big playground, tennis courts, skate park and dog park. The Playground looks relatively new but my main concern are the pebbles, besides the fact that you and your kids will look like they just escaped from a dust storm, teenagers are somehow attracted by some kind of dark force to break glass bottles on these pebble playgrounds which is a huge hazard for everyone. The Park staff do come once a week or additionally when you call it in to rake the pebbles and make sure there are no sharp objects in it but it’s still scary if you are the first to discover the broken glass(which happens frequently). So I am very careful when I take my kids to the playground and usually try to keep them on the actual structures. As for the Dog Park, it’s a smaller rectangle shaped enclosure with mostly responsible dog owners that I can even take my disabled dog there without him being ruffed up by some misbehaving dogs.
