I like their ready to eat Sushi. That is one of the reasons I go to Longos. We do buy some groceries from there. But the Sushi is why I show up. They have a good variety of fruits and veggies. The yummy papayas… aaah… one of my fabulous purchases this week. I like that you can get your stuff billed fast. I like that they have this large area to sit and eat with comfortable seating and TV screens. The staff is helpful. This big store is worth a visit.

Out of the 5 – 6 grocery stores in the area (choosing between no frills, real Canadian, Wal-Mart, target-closing, and the list goes on…), this one by far is the best for anyone looking for that super friendly mom and pop feel or looking for top customer service (similar to publix for those Americans looking for your go-to grocery store, can we say return anything?) I often get their organic produced, fairly priced, and 90% of my grocery’s from here. I love grabbing a starbucks before hand and their floral selection is actually pretty nice for such a small store. Because it’s a small they don’t have some products I need stocked, but I’d still rather shop here than most.

I Love this Grocery Store!!! It’s Clean, very organized, Great selection, all the produce and Meat are the Freshest of any other place, it’s a joy to shop here, not to mention Customer Service is Excellent too. They even have a Starbucks and a Frozen Yogurt facility along with a comfortable and Cozy sitting Area.
Too bad they are not open 24 hours and they never have the Coffee Cream I like, but other than that, it’s Perfect!!!

When are they going to upgrade their scanning technology so they can scan their own Longo’s points card from my iPhone Passbook app? I shouldn’t have to stop by customer service with my receipt so it can be processed manually.
So, as much as I like your store, I always leave annoyed because your technology is a failure.

This is a true Canadian Grocery Store, they started out right here in Toronto in 1956. They have 23 location in the GTA and the newest one has been opened just beside the ACC. They are very big on buying local so most of their fresh produce is in immediate proximity (meaning less polution because of less travel time for the produce and also less genetically-modified foods because Canadian standards are higher then the US).
I also agree that the prices are sometimes a bit steep but at the same time for example the cold cuts precut by the meat counter are an amazing deal. The Bakery has also a wide and delicious looking assortment. I don’t come to often here because it’s a bit to pricey but lately the meat prices have impressed me so I come for that.
