Great Ice surfaces. 4 pads. Rink 1 is a bowl where the Blades play, Rink 2 is visible from Puckz Restaurant upstairs and is configured to support sledge hockey. All rinks visible from upper seating in hallway. 2 Shooting pads on the lower level. 2 or 3 community rooms. All very clean. Filtered & Chilled water bottle fountain in lower hallway between rink 1 and 2. Clean & Sharp pro-shop downstairs also between rink 1 and 2. Coffee Shop upstairs. If you are in Rink 3 or 4, better to park on the upper level, otherwise park on the lower level«Athletes Entrance». Warmup locations: either end of upper hallway, or around rink 1 at the top of the bowl, or in lower hallway between rink 1 and 2. If nice, outside upstairs by Rink 4 there is a grass surface. Leash free dog park out back on west side. North end of parking lot there are turf and grass soccer pitches. Skate Oakville Offices on lower level inside Athletes Entrance. For public skating, pay at the service desk on the lower level near Atheletes entrance. Washrooms on upper and lower level between Rink 1 and 2 as well as in Puckz Restaurant upstairs and changerooms on lower level. Puckz Restaurant is excellent as Arenas go. You can’t view Rink 1 from Puckz, but you can see Rink 2. Good beer and wine selection, and the burgers are a favourite.

Went to this place over family day weekend since all the community centers had free activities. We had lots of fun with face painting, jumping castles and Sparky the Fire Dog :) Otherwise I’m not sure how much this is a sports complex then just simply ice ring beside ice ring beside ice ring. Maybe I missed something and there are some sort of gyms on the lower level bit I don’t think so. They did have a reception area, a little coffee bar area and then some meeting/activity rooms. So if you are into hockey this place is state of the art, I think they just had their grand opening in late 2010.
