I grew up in this neighbourhood as a kid and this was a place I spent most of of my time. This store belongs to my Aunt and she has been there since the 70’s. Her and her daughters run this place, and there always friendly and welcoming. As an adult I still find myself visiting today hello. But mostly to try out the delicious home cooked food, wonderful snacks/deserts and all the little things you would find in a big grocery store. If you live in the neighbourhood and need a affordable healthy meal stop in and you won’t be disappointed. Maybe I’ll see be there… G

Excellent little mini mart in the student ghetto! You can find just about anything you’re looking for if you’ve forgotten it at the grocery store, they have a really great variety of both groceries and junk food alike. The cashier here has always been very friendly and chatty. They also make the BEST baklava in the city. It is outstanding! It is the type of baklava that is just SOAKED with honey and that is my favorite type. Another neat thing about this cute little store is that they make home cooked meals that you can buy containers of and pay by weight, it’s always cheap and absolutely delicious. I had a little container of their macaroni and beef and it was only $ 3, good portion, and it was really good too! It certainly didn’t look overly appetizing to be 100% honest but it reminded me of something my mama would make.
