Historique

Fondé en 2013.

With the first location on Richmond Road, HALF FULL Glassware and Accessories hopes to contribute to the unique shopping that Westboro Village has to offer. HALF FULL provides for consumers who look beyond basic entry-level products and who rather seek expressions of their individual personality and style.

The owner, Marie-France Marquis, is passionate about wine, coffee and tea. So much so that she quit her job in the public service in November 2012, to launch HALF FULL. Marie-France has also been professionally involved with the wine industry for the past decade — she is a wine writer, and a wine judge at the Ottawa Food and Wine Festival. Her experience has led her to open HALF FULL so that she can fulfill her mission — to enhance the enjoyment of beverages.

My boyfriend recently purchased an espresso maker and was on the hunt for a milk frother. We were in the market and went to a store there but found the service too pushy and the pricey very high. I googled coffee accessories and was surprised to learn there was a beverage accessories store in Westboro. We stopped in and were pleasantly greeted with an array of glassware, accessories and beverage machinery.
Marie France, the owner was quick to greet us and offer her expertise. She was not pushy at all and was very forthcoming with any information we requested.
Her prices were right and her customer service exceeded our expectations. We found a milk frother made by a Canadian company (yeah!!) and a few other cool items to add to our kitchen
We can’t wait to go back.

I popped into this delightful store on a whim yesterday. My sister and I had just finished a delicious lunch at Simply Biscotti and were walking down Richmond when she decided she simply had to go in to this store that had a giant wine class in the window.
We were greeted by an array of awesome wine accessories, coffee contraptions and simply adorable gifts. The thing that immediately caught our eye were the Breville juciers, on sale for a great price. Laura scooped one up, and I seriously considered it, but instead decided to peruse their selection of awesome novelty coasters, flasks and coffee accessories.
The owner, Marie France was incredibly sweet and her service alone would make me come back here. I’ll be back here again to pick up gifts for my foodie and wino friends!
