Pet store dogs are puppy mill dogs, always. With the overpopulation of dogs, cats and rabbits in Ottawa, visit the Humane Society or a registered rescue. Support pet stores who support rescue, not these bloodsucking vultures.

This store sells animals which in this day and age unless they are promoting rescue should be banned by the city. I am disgusted that the owners of this store feel they are doing a good thing. What they are doing is supporting the proliferation of puppy mills and are not selling dogs and cats that would come from a reputable breeder. No reputable breeder would sell an animal in a pet store. Please if you think that puppy is cute, google puppy mills and think twice. Instead support a reputable breeder or a reputable rescue. You will not be disappointed. It breaks my heart to see these dogs and cats in little windows, no human contact on display. In my opinion the city should ban this store or any other store from selling animals.

After eating lunch at Harvey’s across the street, my boyfriend and I wanted to pick up some things for our cats, and we remembered the pet store inside Billings Bridge.
After checking out some of the bugs, fish, and other small animals, we walked around looking for kitty litter. We bought the cheapest sack of kitty litter, a very simple kitty litter box, a small bag of Temptations cat treats for hairball control, a container of catnip that came with mice toys, and one of those cat wands with bird feathers at the end for them to play with.
The customer service was OK. No one really asked us for help when we walked in, but they were friendly at the cash. We paid about $ 45 for everything, and actually walked out fairly quickly.
