Mansion Nightclub

For being the first club i’ve ever been to in Ottawa Id have to say ²⁄₁₀!
1 point for the good music.
2^nd point for cheap drinks.
Other than that, compared to Toronto clubbing this is SHIT!
The club was discustingly decorated. the only cool thing was their wall of disco lights.
7 $ cover fee.

didn’t get very busy.

Not impressed.
The girl takin cover charge even stole 14 $ from my girlfriend! She had to fight for her change back! That took a good 30 min of our night too!

Mansion, another club in the UMM Entertainment group, took over the venue from Heaven, and The Factory before it. They may have finally found the formula to make this a successful place, after DJ Sleazy D left The Factory many years ago. But I digress…
Mansion keeps almost everything Heaven had for a venue: fair-​sized dance floor with huge video screen/​light show, and second-​level balcony and bar overlooking it. There’s now the oh-​so-​common VIP bottle service in a nice area on the second floor. And they’ve changed the music to be more mainstream dance, leaning towards more R&B and mashups. As is usual for UMM bars, the staff are attractive and friendly.
The Saturday night I was there, the place was pretty full, with the typical young Ottawa dance crowd. Cover and drinks struck me as average in price. I enjoyed myself, and would recommend it if the music is to your tastes.
