This adorable little Glebe spot is right at Srathcona and Bank. I walked in with an armful of one-year old and a three year-old tagging along. I immediately like this place — the décor features open, Industrial ceilings, bright art and a slew of tables and chairs. The big deli counter is old school and wonderful, and I love that you can see all the business behind the counter. The menu features traditional deli goods, and I decided to order a turkey sandwich for myself and grilled cheese for the little ones. We also picked up a cheeseburger for their mama which looked UNREAL and she said tasted great. Everything was super fresh — the turkey was the freshest I think I’ve ever had and it was so smokey an wonderful. The kaiser bun was perfect. While we were waiting for our food(which only took about 10 – 15 minutes), a lovely older lady come up to me and gave the little ones a free cookie(which was SO good — I may have snuck a bite!). She was so sweet, and I assume this was Olga. I really want to head back here and try more of their menu. The staff were so lovely and the place has a great vibe. I bet it’s an awesome spot for lunch if you live or work in the area.

Mmm, I like Olga’s. This family owned deli has a great atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you’re treated with a casual good humour that makes you feel like you’re suddenly a regular. They have a great selection of lunch food, including a variety of sandwiches, wraps, soups and chili. The prices are incredibly cheap, which makes this a fantastic option for people working nearby. I can always get a Pepsi, large sandwich and bowl of chili for under $ 10. Olga’s also does its fair share of catering. I’ve been to one catered event by them and the food was delicious and apparently the price was incredibly reasonable.
