Scores Rotisserie

Went there in the past and the experience was «just ok» after going there this past weekend and having a terrible experience (bad food and terrible service) I emailed th manager. Four days later and I still haven’t heard back from them.
We went as a party of 3 adults and 1 child and our food came in 3 separate chunks. The waitress was rude and condescending. The highlight of the meal was the salad bar.
I would not recommend going to this restaurant as the service is going down hill swiftly.

Salad bar was okay but food (shrimp & chicken) was raw and made us all nauseous for the night overall unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our meals.

Well went to scores on Thursday night and wasent impressed by the salad bar. The veggies were old and sour tasting and the pineapple was gone bad and coloured. Had to ask the server to bring out fresh fruit, which they did. The plates were supposed to be clean from dishwasher and still looked dirty. They didn’t have labels on the salad dressing. Had to ask the server to bring out the labels so I knew what was what. This was at 7 pm too. So no excuses for that. Anyways for 10 $ I wouldn’t come to scores for a salad bar dinner. Very disappointed.

This place used to be one of my favorites… the quality of the food is going downhill it seems! The last 3 times i’ve been there the food has been cold, dry chicken, stale buns, really below average food, very disappointing they started out with a ⁴⁄₅ on the rating and move to ²⁄₅ for the quality of the food.

Waitress told me I was a liar and then the manager told me the same when I said that my two year old son had never been charged when I share the food with him…
A seven year waitress (looks like she doesn’t have any ambition in life) and a just out of college manager with zero customer service skills… Guys I was a once a week customer on this place, not anymore .

My 11 year old and I went for lunch Sunday Feb. 8. The food was so good, he told me it was his favourite restaurant so far. The chicken tenders had a light crispy coating and the Thai chicken I had was flavourful. Our waitress Shawn was so nice and was always there for anything we needed. We love Scores and will definitely be going back.

Love coming here! They have awesome rotisserie chicken! I always get the quarter chicken, white meat — and it comes with the salad bar buffet included! It’s an delicious, healthier (if you chose it to be! lol) alternative to a lot of the restaurants around Kanata Centrum.
If you’re a fan of chicken noodle soup — theirs is awesome! May not be homemade from scratch — but sure is yummy!
Also worth mentioning is the service — staff is always friendly and helpfull! This place really fills up around dinner time, so on weekends, I’d go earlier, or later to avoid the rush and wait time.

This place is ok. Not great, not bad. Just ok. We’ve been a few times.
Their roasted chicken is a bit bland when compared to other restaurant chains that specialize in this (you know who they are). Their club sandwiches are loaded with meat (yum!) and the fries are ok.
Salad bar is always full of fresh veggies.

I went here for lunch with a friend today. Overall I wasn’t impressed. We were about 3 minutes late to be able to order from their lunch menu. Personally, I think a lunch menu should run until 4pm. But its not my restaurant. Anyways, as a first timer I went through the rest of the menu. Everything was oddly priced so my friend and I opted for the salad bar. Not bad, in terms of options. I only had one bowl, most expensive protein-​less salad I’ve ever had! Definitely over priced.
The place was virtually empty. The few staff members were sitting together at a booth chatting, including our server. It took a little while for us to be greeted & seated due to this.
Their beer selection was okay, my friend and I both had Canadian. The beer had an odd almost wine taste to it. Weird.
I think the worst thing was the bathroom. It smelled like throw up and pee. Incredibly unappealing.
Pros: the veggies at the bar were fresh, my lettuce was crisp and clean. That’s about it!

This is my favorite place for chicken in the Ottawa area! Too bad there are only two locations! i love their chicken fingers with honey mustard sauce. The desserts are also reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and the service is very fast and friendly!

I love this place! I usually go around lunch time as they have good lunch specials for cheap. You get a meal, drink, and dessert for all under $ 15, even cheaper if you choose something different on the menu. I usually get the burger and deep friend pickle, and the quality of the food is average. I enjoy the desserts that they offer with the special and for the price, I find this a great value meal, thus the 4 stars.
The atmosphere is clean and pretty welcoming. There was one instance where we were seated in a corner and there were about 5 – 10 flies flying around… but we told the waitress and she moved us to another table without any issues. Apart from this situation, I haven’t had any other issues with Scores.
Overall, I would recommend this location to a friend.

a no nonsense place. A crowded lunch venue with a mixture of families, workers, and senior citizens. service was basic, nothing over the top. The chicken with rice was quite delicious!

This is like the Canadian version of Marie Callender’s or Sizzler… big salad bar and lots of old people.
Even if you aren’t an AARP member (would that be CARP in Canada?), it’s not a bad place if you like soup and salad bars. Unfortunately, I’m not that kind of person. But I did find their ribs to be not-​undelicious! I had pretty low expectations, but they weren’t bad at all. Prices were reasonable, too.

Good chicken. Big salad bar.
