The Simple Pleasures of Nature in a Modern Camp Aesthetic. We have 8 trailers including 6 Airstreams, a Shasta Airflyte and a T@B Sleeping pod. We also have a 9 room Lodge and 3 Rustic Log Cabins. Also on the property is the urban style Coffee + Kitchen restaurant.

Historique

Fondé en 2015.

The WOODS is a May 2015 rebranding and expansion/​renovation of the 25 year old «Inn on Pender» adding 8 additional units to the existing 12. We are also rebranding and renovating Memories at the Inn restaurant and Pender Pizza to become the new urban style Coffee + Kitchen restaurant.

With over 27 years in Vancouver repositioning buildings in very urban hoods like Railtown, Gastown and Chinatown, the WOODS takes all the work we have done in inner city hoods and brings some of that to Pender Island. I have been looking for a project like this to combine all the comforts of urban living but live and coexist in nature. It’s like Scout camp without the canned beans and with showers. Also has an urban style restaurant with cappuccinos, wine and beer on tap, cocktails and great modern comfort food.
