Best Western Plus Otonabee Inn

I’ve stayed here quarterly for the past year while on business in Peterborough, I’ve always had a lovely stay!
The first time I was in a great room on the end by the road, second floor with a balcony, which prompted me to request that side the next visit.
The rooms are nice and tidy and a good size for multiple nights.
The rooms I’ve been in, all have a mini fridge and microwave, coffee pot and balcony or deck.
My second visit I was being fussy and needed to switch rooms twice. *if the manager is reading this, Thank You!
Very kind and a quick change.
I don’t like to be on the ground level, so I moved to the second, and then there was a water pressure problem so they graciously allowed me to move again.
Breakfast is quick and easy in the Riverside Room, nothing fancy, but great for something to start off the day.
I’ve found the beds quite comfortable and the amenities a nice touch.
Some rooms you can even see your car from, if you’re particular!
Boat launch on the property, and I’ve seen many ducks on the lawns which is a cute touch :)
I’ll be back, quarterly!

We have stayed at The Best Western Otonabee quite a few times but the last couple have not met our expectations. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The beds are another story. You would expect The Best Western to have comfortable beds but that is not always the case. The last two times we stayed we had the most uncomfortable mattress that sunk in the middle and made for a very restless nights sleep and a sore back in the morning.
I even contacted the manger to let him know but he only responded to say he would look into this and get back to me but that was over a month ago and he never did. I feel compelled to write this review and let people know. This would not be my first choice to stay now even though it is the closest hotel our family. Very disappointing.
