Angelo’s & Yana… I owe you one!
I had recently had a close hairdresser friend put 18″ hair extensions in; this was my first hair extension experience so I had no idea that what she was doing was wrong. The hair had been installed so close to the scalp that my actual hairs were being ripped constantly; I could see even see the white hair follicles. This caused my scalp to become extremely red, agitated, and sore… I put up with it for almost 2 weeks thinking the tightness would fade, as my friend had suggested.
On Saturday night, frustrated by the constant pain and headaches, I decided to remove the extensions myself using a combination of conditioner and orchid oil. I had no idea how short my hair would be after the extensions were out and was extremely overwhelmed.
Woke up on Sunday morning and googled «hair salon near me open on Sunday». Angelo’s was one of the results and, having been there a child, I recognized the name and made dialed their number.
From the very get go, the girls at Angelo’s were extremely nice and understanding; they rushed me in for an emergency consultation to examine the damage. During my consultation I was offered coffee AND an appetizer… already I felt more at ease. Two hours later I was back to have the LOVELY Yana re-​install the extensions. She did an absolutely AMAZING job, I didn’t even feel a thing and to this day have not experienced one moment of discomfort.
Although my friend had been the cheaper option, I will now go to Angelo’s for all of my hair needs; thank you so much!

bitchy hair stylist? I thought salon experiences were supposed to be relaxing but apparently not. I asked the girl to cut my hair shoulder length and then I’d decide if I wanted to go any shorter instead of cutting off so much right away. She says she doesn’t have time to do 2 haircuts… funny, I didn’t know I was asking for two. And to speak to a paying customer so rudely?! Disgusting.

This is my second time coming to Angelos and this time I’m going for a style change! Lots of hair on the floor now. and putting highlights in to give my hair some dimension. I have an interview tomorrow so am hoping to look my best for it! Alaina is great to talk to and is spot on with the amount of highlights in my new hair style. Like!

I had heard great things about Angelo’s salon and decided to purchase a Groupon for a cut and see for myself. The salon was busy, and everyone was very cheerful.
I received a great haircut from Franco and he was super friendly, knowledgeable and my hair looked great when I left!
I even got a coffee delivered right to my chair. Great service!

Only Angelo has cut my hair for over 10 years. I get countless compliments and he always does exactly what I want.
I see Sara for manicures (though I’m very basic doing short nail and cuticle maintenance), but I LOVE, LOVE how she’s groomed (threaded, tinted) my brows to absolute perfection.
You cannot go wrong with Angelo or Sarah.

I had a groupon for a cut for this place and along with that groupon I wanted a few streaks put in to frame my face. The girl, whose name escapes me, that did my hair was fairly young and she had an odd haircut herself — a bad sign. She was not very personable. I told her what I wanted. She did a basic cut putting in layers, which were not short enough. Then she did the streaks. When the foils were out and my hair was a bit dry I couldn’t notice my streaks at all and I told her this. She said, well, those are called ‘placement’ streaks and she showed me the streaks that she put under my first layer of hair and that when I straighten my hair I should ‘place’ my hair a certain way. Why in god’s name would I want streaks placed underneath when I asked for face framing streaks of which there are none. The closest streak to my face is in the middle of my head. And really there is only one streak that stands out. Thanks for nothing and never again.

Horrible!
It’s been 3 months since I had my haircut with them and I am still so upset. I grew my hair out long to receive a nice haircut but instead it was cut so poorly. I asked for layers and i received two layers literally. Now I’m back to growing it out. They’re style of cutting is so amateur. It’s funny because after I told my friends I got my hair cut at Angelo’s, they had the same reaction as me. They too, agreed they didn’t like their haircuts from Angelo’s and found it to be too choppy looking. I’m writing this review now because I’m about to go on vacation and I’m stuck with this hair. I so frustrated as to how the stylists could cut hair so horribly.
Never going back there again. I’m sure magic cuts would be a better option than them.

I’ve been going to Angelo’s to have my hair cut by Donna for several years. I have several «cow-​licks» at the crown of my head and most stylists I’ve been to don’t know what to do with them, and cut them too short so they stand straight up. Donna is the only one who got creative with my hair, contolled the «cow-​licks» and made them lie down. This week, I returned from a six week trip to find that Donna had left Angelo’s. To be fair, I was offered a free wash, cut and blow-​dry — but I wanted to know where Donna had gone and Angelo’s wouldn’t tell me! I couldn’t believe it! So I started going through all the listings of salons in the Tri-​Cities and I found her at Filomena’s –thanks to a salon operator who knew her! So all of Donna’s former clients… that’s where she is! And Angelo’s? Take a hike — you’ve lost this customer.

I bought a Groupon for Angelo’s a few weeks ago for a wash, cut and style.
The salon was very busy (good sign), and professional. Joe cut my hair, and did a great job! I am super pleased with the cut, and I didn’t have to wait for it to grow out for me to like it (like I usually do)
My Groupon was accepted without fuss, and the Front Desk desk were friendly.
On my way out Joe gave me a $ 10 off coupon for next time along with his card. I thought this was very nice touch, and even more incentive to come back again.
I recommend this salon for anyone in the area.

My husband has been going here for quite a while and has raved about both Donna and Adis. He booked a Brazilian Blowout for me for mother’s day this year with Donna. She was very professional. Explained in full detail about the process and after care. She was clear and patient with all my questions. I highly recommend her. She gave me a very professional hair cut. Because my hair is so long she wanted to be so precise so she had me stand up to cut off the base layer so that she could be 100% accurate. I appreciated her perfectionism. She’s very easy to talk to and very friendly. I am definitely going back.
The salon itself is very nice. Clean and full of great products! A friend has used their spa services and recommends them as well. I haven’t but will soon!
