Caffé Divano

Love their coffee — I usually get their lattes. If you like your coffee a bit sweeter go for the unique Spanish latte which is made with condensed milk. In the past I’ve also bought their whole beans which are sourced from 49^th parallel. A bit pricey but definitely quality beans.
My only gripe is that their food and desserts are on the pricier side — Most of the sandwiches are about $ 8 – 9. They’re pretty fresh and tasty and are heated for you on the panini press when you order (on the other hand it takes them about 5 minutes, not so great if you are in a rush).

One of the two best cups of coffee in Port Moody. Lattes are smooth and flavourful… On the red wine side of the coffee flavour wheel… similar to Caffe Artigiano, IMO. Divano’s goes one step further, though… and offers an amazing selection of food and desserts… A lot of it made in house under their Gabi and Jules brand.

This is probably the best coffee you will have in BC. Same prices as Starbucks but so much better and supporting local businesses. They have a Spanish latte that will blow your mind. If you’ve never tried one I encourage it because of you don’t like it they will give you a different drink for free. Then go for a walk in the park nearby. :)

99% of my experiences have ended in disappointment. Front-​end girls are snotty and rude. Only reason I go is because my husband likes the baked goods. Today was the worst! Girl making the coffee drink mumbled my drink when it was ready. I was standing there and she did not bother to make eye contact — she kept her head down the whole time. Interesting to see how happy she was when talking to the cashier!?! I agree with other reviewer — girls do not care about their jobs. They do not care about the customers at all. I wish the owner took more care in who they hired.

The food and drinks are good. The prices are pathetic. Some of the staff act like they don’t care if they work there or not.

Conveniently located near Rocky Point park and has lots of snack options. It’s a-​ok but pricey. In my opinion the coffee has that over-​roasted/​burnt flavor, which is why I usually add a flavor shot (maybe that’s what makes it pricey. This place is more of a once-​and-​a-​while for me, than everyday.

This is my favorite coffee spot in the Tri-​Cities area. I love that they use 49^th Parallel coffee here, so I don’t have to go all the way to Vancouver for that. I also love that they have my favorite «Spanish Latte». This is my to-​go spot if I need some lone time during the day. (But not weekends)

I purchased a Mocha Almond Cake this afternoon — cost me $ 4.50 and I had three bites before I decided to stop eating it and returned back to them. It could have been my personal preference, but it was way too sweet for an afternoon treat, very dense, and despite the rich chocolatey colour, I tasted nothing but sugar. No almond or mocha flavour whatsoever.
Safe to say i will not order this again.

Five stars! Clean, fresh, modern menue, resonably priced. I wish all the coffe shops in Great Van area will be like Divano places. You can’t go wrong entering this place!

My favourite café to spend a morning doing some reading or writing. The food is consistently amazing, which is definitely what separates it from a lot of places that make good coffee. Excellent gluten free options (try the brownie or the yogurt parfait!) although I wish they had a gluten free bread option available because their sandwiches look like they are to die for, and a girl can only eat so many salads for lunch before she starts to wish she had something more substantial! If you are a granola fan, I don’t think you’ll find anything more delicious than their house-​made granola. The staff is so nice, and always has wonderful recommendations. I would highly recommend this spot for a quiet morning breakfast and coffee, or a delicious lunch or snack after a walk around Rocky Point!

Very convenient location for those living in this area. Its located near lots of town homes and condos. Pretty nice looking coffee shop, I been to several other of their location. I wasn’t a fan of their drip coffee I find it too acidic but I was introduced their Gibraltar, thats a different story I enjoyed it very much. Its a latte with half the milk. They have several options of baked goods and sandwiches. Lots of tables and also several seating outside. Parking lot at the side or on the street.

I’ve been a few times now (post hikes in the Coquitlam area), and both times have been consistently good… a nice place to relax with a good cup of caffeinated product. Ahhhh… definitely check it out if you’re in the neighbourhood.

Caffe Divano is a blink and you’ll miss it local café in Port Moody (they also have locations in Coquitlam and Burnaby). It is a great family run coffee shop with some of the best baked goods in the tri-​cities. They also serve fantastic coffee, including super creative specialty drinks, and offer a wide selection of loose leaf teas (my favourite is their jasmine green tea).
Located in the Klahanie housing development of Port Moody, it is my ‘go-​to’ place for baked treats. My favourite items are their chocolate zucchini oat muffin and their chocolate chip banana bread (though that got discontinued recently). All the food is made in-​house with real ingredients and from scratch in their kitchen. Nothing is mass produced, frozen and thawed here (I am looking at you, large coffee chain, that spells my name wrong every time I order a coffee). Every morning when I walk in, the owner is there serving up a mean cup of Americano and always friendly with conversation. The muffins and scones are often still warm from the oven and it is hard to resist a scone, muffin or delicious breakfast panini. Let’s just say I avoided Caffe Divano like a plague when I was in wedding weight loss mode last year!
The owners have a passion for what they do and love to tell you about their food and business. You learn a lot from them and really get a sense that they care about the quality of their food and providing more healthy options (when possible) to their customers. They do a lot of small things to make a difference. For example, they use real essential oils for their peppermint mocha lattes, not syrup. Which means you are getting the minty flavour without the yucky sweetness/​chemical crap storm in most syrups. Their eggnog holiday drinks are also made with farm fresh eggnog… which is way better than the eggnog most chains use.
I know, I know, you are asking me. «But you just wrote about how you ran a marathon, how can you be telling me about all these baked goods?» Fear not friends, they have vegan friendly, paleo friendly and even wheat free treats. And their treats are never boring, they change constantly with the seasons. Besides, I have always said, if you’re going to cheat on your diet, it better f&*ing worth it, and the stuff at Divano is SOOOO worth it. In addition to coffee and baked goods, they also have some great healthy salads, soups, sandwich and breakfast options. I am honestly never disappointed with the food here, be it baked goods or the savoury variety. Oh and one more thing, they support local artists! They have a wide variety of artwork hanging in the café you can purchase. I love it; a small local business helping local artists!

Love this coffee shop! My favourite is the Spanish Latte… the food is great and the atmosphere is lovely!!! Love the outdoor patio and the fact that everything is made in house. A bit pricey but really worth what you get.

This is my local. Great espresso based drinks and very yummy deserts. Especially love the apple cake thing they have. Good atmosphere and helpful, friendly staff. I find their actual coffee too bitter, but maybe that’s just me.

Café Divano is now one of my favorite coffee shops in the tricities.
Their service is ok but their goodies are delicious…
I love their coffees, teas and handcrafted drinks!
This fall I tried their Nutty Mocha with almond milk and it was great!
I like their muffins, scones and biscotties.
They also have gruten free products and you can replace your milk for a few cents more.
They have great atmosphere, the store is at a pretty quiet location in Port Moody and I think that is why I like it so much. (Their store on Hastings can get pretty hectic sometimes).
I give Divano 4 stars for consistency and good products. As I said, the service is pretty average and they don’t clean up their tables often (sometimes you gotta clean up your own before sitting in).

Well — After tonight’s Chicken & Goat Cheese wrap — I want to take back ALL my stars… First it was microwaved (NEVER GOOD), then grilled. When the counter person told me, it wont look the best but will taste great I wasn’t bothered, because I’ve had the wrap before, but when I got back to work and opened it up I almost threw up! Tomato juices flowing out — squished beyond belief, and burning hot due to the microwave. Not worth the money at all, and I don’t care if I go into shock from hunger, I’ll never venture in there again.
