Freshii is a fast casual restaurant concept that serves fresh food, custom built to energize people on the go. Freshii features innovative menu items including wraps made of Collard Greens, bowls based with quinoa and fresh pressed juices and smoothies. Think: slow burning carbs, healthy fats and lean proteins.
Freshii lives by «Mission Green» — to be good to the earth by eliminating traditional fast food practices including excessive packaging, energy hungry dishwashers and appliances. We do all this in an upbeat environment with modern, sophisticated design that elevates dining for even the busiest of people.
Historique
Fondé en 2005.
As a young professional working in New York City for fashion designer Oscar de la Renta, Freshii Founder & CEO Matthew Corrin had an idea. He noticed the many fresh food ‘mom and pop’ delis and was determined to successfully brand one. 23-year-old Corrin set out to add magic to the fresh food business.
The idea? To create a restaurant brand to help people all over the world live healthier and longer lives by making healthy food affordable and convenient. The mission: to eliminate the excuse that people don’t eat well because they cannot access convenient and affordable healthy food. In 2005, Matthew Corrin, a Winnipeg native, opened the first Freshii location in Toronto.
