Created an account to post this review. I am all for supporting local businesses however not if, like my experiences with Jokers pizza tonight, the food is crap. The pizza was crusty, salad absolutely drowning in dressing(we called it salad soup), Alfredo pasta that was watery and tasteless, and cheap chicken wings. Not much to like about our order. We will not order from them again.

After reading a lot of mixed reviews we decided to try this place tonight. We usually order lasagna from Sergio’s and wanted that but they were closed for Labour Day. So Jokers it was. Their prices are a lot higher than Sergio’s(almost double) but their portions are bigger and the quality is better. We paid about $ 38.00 for two orders with extra cheese after tax and delivery. The sauce tasted very fresh, the pasta seemed homemade, and I liked the fact that their lasagna was actually layers of pasta and sauce instead of bits of pasta mixed in sauce. Their sizes are really big. We easily could have gotten away with just one order between the two of us because we’ve still got half of everything left and we were both pretty hungry. With that in mind, it’ll be a cheaper order next time lol. This is by far the best restaurant lasagna I’ve had so far.

I would really like to support a local business with the actual owners still putting in the tough hours… But…the pizza was just not any good. To the owners: Is business good? if so, no need to change your ways. If not… be generous with the toppings for the price you charge!

Unfortunately, the pizza lives up to its moniker and unlike previous reviews, this was unsatisfactory for the price you pay. We ordered a cheese and a garden pizza and my little nephew and niece didn’t finish a slice. If you can’t please the kids with pizza… For $ 30+ you get more dough than topping. Yes, the carb to protein ratio is lopsided. A cheese pizza involves cheese and some sauce, or it’s just cheese bread. The end result is a bland taste, like bread. I really want to support local businesses, especially a local and family owned pizza joint, but until this new management improves, I will have look elsewhere or go to Little Caesars, Panago, Pizza Hut, etc. Overall, I was more disappointed that I brought home mediocre pizza to two over excited kids whose expectations were deflated :( More cheese please!

A month ago I would have gave these guys 5 stars. They were my favorite pizza place in Port Moody. Not sure what exactly happened, the nice fellow on the other end of the phone is gone and must be under new management. I ordered my favorite pie last night. The meat tasted«off» and the dough must not have rised properly as the crust was very uncooked and reminded my of my own failed attempts to make bread. I will try back in a month and see if they have stepped up their game.

I also believe there are new owners and sadly are not as good as they used to be, and they were fantastic. SADNESS.

I have driven by Jokers many times until recently I stopped and ordered one of their pastas to go. One of the best dinners to go I have ever had. It came with focaccia bread and a salad, and for under $ 15 was very impressed. I will definitely be back on a regular basis.

Jokers Pizza is a gem in Port Moody. The pizza always arrives hot, and as ordered with their own dipping sauce. They’re toppings are great, my favourite is the Mediterranean.
