Service was very slow for every step of our dinner and our water was never refilled. Food was very average/bland and it came out room temperature. Best part was probably the warm pita which was enjoyable. The hummus was average and the tzatziki lacked flavour. The beef souvlaki wasn’t cooked properly, it was supposed to be medium and came out well done and in addition to that it tasted like very cheap meat and it came out cold! The Greek salad and rice again was very average. The chicken souvlaki had a nice flavour to it but once again it came out room temperature. Gave it a shot, but most likely won’t be going again. Even if service was good the food itself just had a cheap taste to it and not remotely worth the price.

Ate here on a slow night, ambience was nice, they had a guitarist playing music and he wasn’t loud or obnoxious. With that said, it took about an hour for our food to arrive; we asked what was going on and were told that the Pizza place next door was really busy, they share a kitchen and it was backed up. They waitress was doing her best, it was just her running waiting the whole restaurant, but we felt like we were given second seat to take out orders. Food was pretty decent, saganaki in particular was excellent, but the service soured the whole experience. I don’t feel there’s any good excuse for waiting an hour for a meal in a sparsely populated restaurant. Would consider trying it again, but not in any rush.

Since our favourite greek restaurant burnt down we decided to give this place another try. There is a reason we stopped going and will stop going again. It took 30 minutes for our appetizer to arrive and another 30 minutes for our entrée and another ten minutes for the waitress to come back with the credit card machine. The restaurant wasn’t that busy but holy cow the service was slow. They were also setting up the restaurant for live music. The restaurant is way to small for that. The food was just ok. Not worth the price. My husband had the fish special and was surprised to find out the hard way that there were bones in it. They decided after that they should probably tell people there are bones. Bottom line: we will be looking for another greek restaurant to eat at.

I need to start by saying that the hospitality here is amazing. You don’t feel more welcome than at this place. The owners and staff go out of their way to make your experience memorable. They just know how to handle the little things. And the food… when you see how they take care of the customers, you know they’ll prepare the food well too. Absolutely perfect. Immense depth of flavour in their roasted meats. Carefully prepped and plated appies. And the best Greek potatoes around. Prices are higher than elsewhere but you really do get what you pay for.

Made a return visit after despite horrid experience for same family function last year. Poor service and equally poor food last year set lo expectations. Huge surprise. Excellent service. Roast lamb was excellent. Chicken parmigiana and linguini was yummy. Pizza a bit on doughy side. Great turnaround. See you next year.

I love Rodos, solid Greek and general European food, large portions, even better since they changed the veggies that come with many dishes. I’ve never had better moussaka(vegetarian or meat), they also do a stuffed cordon bleu(maybe not on the menu anymore, but they can often make it) in a mushroom sauce that is fabulous. The atmosphere is good and the live music is fun.

It makes me sad that living in Southern California, there is such a lack of good, authentic Greek cuisine. Sorry, but the Daphne’s chain just doesn’t make the cut. We took a group of our favorite peeps to Rodos this past week… it’s a great restaurant and it just so happened that one of my best girls — my sister(!!!) — was performing! Yes, they gave our reserved table for 10 away to another group that(so f-ing rudely) had no problem taking it without saying it wasn’t theirs… But the owner stepped up and set us up with a great table immediately. The food… good authentic Greek. I had the lamb souvlaki — a little cliché, I know, but it was tender, moist and super flavorful. Great Greek salad and fantastic tzatziki. Okay, I know this is a little(a lot) biased, but their entertainment was awesome. I had never seen my sister dance in person before and she brought a little tear to my eye(and ice queen that sorta pride myself on, that’s saying a lot!). I’ve been to Rodos before and as long as my folks live in Port Moody, I’ll be back again. Great establishment!

Great Mediterranean food! We went in for a family dinner on a Friday night, not bad! They even have a guy singing with a dance floor! The hummus is way too garlicy and I loved the Taziki. The beef Spanokopita was SO delicious! they also have outdoor dining and someone was having a big birthday and took up half the restaurant when we went to visit so they have a big area for parties! Definitely worth a stop in when you’re in the area. The owners are SO nice and welcoming!

Staff were nice, very family style establishment. Food was not great, overcooked, not very fresh, most was bland. Had good drink list. I was hoping for more.

Truly excellent. Rodos is a hidden treasure in PoMo. Michael the owner is a wonderful man whose restaurant serves up enormous portions of fabulous traditional Greek, Italian and other Southern European fare. Top notch service combined with excellent meals in a wonderful setting(they even have belly dancing some nights) equals a place that I keep coming back to. Definitely worth your time, any time.
