The St. Patrick pub is small, but it is convenient location in old Quebec. Was it the best meal we had, no, but it was a good experience and food. We were a group of 4 and were sat a table for 3. We were able to use a chair from the other table, but we had to get it ourselves which was a bit strange. We had poutine and French onion soup and both were good, but nothing out of the ordinary for Quebec City. At the end of the day, for the you pay for being right in old Quebec and the food is just average.

Moi j’adore ! Bouffe sublime, ambiance authentique, service génial !! La musique du pub transmise par les hauts-parleurs fait de cette place la #1 pour les irlandais ou les amateurs :)

Sehr gutes Essen zu moderaten Preisen für Kanada.

We had lunch before the Rolling Stones concert last week. It was a nice summer day so we sat on the patio outside. It’s a beautiful location in the heart of Old Quebec. I did not go inside so I have know idea what the inside is all about. It looked like all the dishes came with the same vegetables which we roasted and very good. I had the sausage plate with the roasted veg, with beer based sauerkraut and sweet potatoe wedges, again very good. My wife had the maple smoked salmon with roasted veg, and roasted potatoes. She said her salmon was great with that smoked flavour. We had 2 house beers at $ 8 a piece I find that a little pricey. If in Old Quebec I think it’s worth a trip to this pub.
